View Full Version : Who can help us
Dear all,
The child, a boy which is 10 years old at the moment, from friends of us has a huge psychical problem after watching a episode of TMNT.
He can go to a hospital, see people in a wheelchair, someone in plaster or with an amputation.
We he needs to go to the hospital, you need to take 2 grown up men, to carry him to keep him under control. When he sees some one in a wheelchair he runs away and stays for hours gone.
Since a few weeks they know that this all started with watching a episode on TMNT. But after he watched it he trow the DVD away and we are now searching for this episode and hope that you can help us.
He told me that in the episode a man (he thought it was a professor, brown hair. round glasses, brown jacket and also brown pants) goes into a portal and dies.
This is what he tells me, it can be a totally different story, but this is the way he remembers it.
Is there any one who recognise this and can tell which episode this is.
If we know this the will take this to the psychiatrist and hope fully they can help them then.
Many thanks in advance.
Kinds regards.

Ninja Turtles creepy pasta?
Probably that episode of when Baxter the fly was thrown into the Technodrome's portal by the turtles... which of course we don't know what happens afterwards because that was the last we saw of him
though it also parallels the episode when Baxter Stockman is thrown into the technodrome (through the portal) where he is taken into a room to die, but accidentally combined dna with a fly that flew into the room with him... becoming the said Baxter the Fly from above... it was a screaming scene from Baxter from what I recall... this scene was from the episode of season two called, "Enter the Fly"... which reminds me I still need to continue on season 2

I smell a troll....
I would recommend showing the young lad the season 5 episode: Zach and the Alien Invaders.
This fine story will instill in him a strong fear, paranoia and delusion, which should work well to ween him off the Enter the Fly episode.
The story is about how people in the government are secretly aliens who seek to brainwash little boys who are sent to military boot camp. I would recommend after showing him this episode to then suggest sending him to military boot camp if he doesn't shape up.
Hope this helps
PS:
The boy is mistaken. The "man" (Baxter Stockman) does not go into a portal and "die." Rather, he is transformed into a superior life form (and more memorable villain)-- a half-man, half-fly hybrid with a penchant for sugar.
But there is a really kickass scene where he is screaming bloody murder and his skeleton flashes as he's electrocuted.
May I suggest buying the boy a Baxter Stockman figure? It may be fun to play with during the psych sessions.

Thanks for the answer, but it's not the epsiode that he saw.
I'm very sorry for all the other people, that don't see the seriousness of his problem.
So if some one has an other suggestion, please post it.
Kind regards,

Well I know of scenes where Baxter was sent to voidlike dimensions.
Like the ending of "enter the fly", "bye bye fly" , and "son of the return of the fly".
Sorry for the Troll comment, I wasn't sure if it was a joke or not.

How you get "scared s*itless of people in plasters and wheelchairs" from "scientist zapped to another dimension" is beyond me.

Doesn't matter, I hope that we can help him with the information I receive from the members of this forum.

And also for his parents. If they know it, they would solve it believe me.

The problems lies probably deeper then a children's cartoon.

Sure, but he says that it all started with that cartoon.

I remember I was scared of a transformer episode when I was a kid. The episode was called "dark awakening". It was set in the third season after the movie when Optimus Prime was a zombie. I had gotten nightmares from that episode. I can understand that something on TV or DVD would frighten a child. If only I knew what exactly scared him. I could tell you what episode was it.

Baxter wore a white lab coat, not a brown jacket. I thought deaths were fairly rare on the OT. The only ones I remember were the alien with the sarnithometer vaporizing and the ice creature melting and refreezing onto the Technodrome. And Krang accidentally turned three rock soldiers back into rocks.

I knew the technodromers could be rude and have fun and all while doing so, (we all do it some times, even mr turtle, well in his own weird way that is.) But try to show some respect, this person seems serious (yea, i sound like a noob cause i can't hear text) so, i suggest we at least "try" to be serious.

Not to mention the corpse of (if I remember after all these years) Ironhide falling out of its crypt and nearly crushing Spike or whoever it was by then?

You'll have to forgive some of us if we're a little hesitant to believe this story. After all this is the internet. It'd be nice if the poster had some sort of proof that the child really has this problem.

So is this kid afraid of wheelchairs or the color brown?
Like the ending of "enter the fly", "bye bye fly" , and "son of the return of the fly".
Sorry, these are also not the episode that he saw.
He told me that there was no fly involved.
Anny other suggestion?

Are you sure it wasn't just a dream?
So is this kid afraid of wheelchairs or the color brown?
For wheelchairs and all kind of other things that have something to do with Hospitals.

What kind of proof should I deliver? The bruises of his mother when she tries to enter a hospital. Her shoes that broke an other time trying to enter the hospital. An image from his parents and friends searching for him when he saw a person in a wheelchair.
Are you sure it wasn't just a dream?
Not for 100%, but he told his parents that he trow the DVD away after watching it. I posted here the request hoping that some one could say/write the story he tells is about episode .... But if the members of the forum are writing that there is no episode that fits to his description, they have to search into an other direction.
Again thanks for all the support.

In the long run though what good is it gonna do even if we help you figure out what Ninja Turtle episode he was watching? He's still gonna be traumatized. Kids get freaked out all the time by scary scenes in TV shows and movies (hence why we have parental advisory warnings these days), but I've never heard of one going to the hospital as a result! I have a feeling there's more to this poor boy's problem than something "unsettling" he saw on the boob tube.

:tlol: Priceless!
Thank you all for the response. I don't think that we will find the episode that he saw. If it really excist, we will never know. Hopefully the find an other way to help him.
Kind regards,
René
