Why is this thing so drastically expensive ... just 1 year ago there was a MISB sold for $155 on the bay... NOW the cheapest one MISB is 899.99 is this realistic? is 700.00 realistic? i meen i understand scarcity and rarity but is this thing REALLY that rare to where it commands a 700+ price tag? ... whats everyones thoughts?!?!?

I'm assuming that huge price tag is a BIN price? Have you looked at what the past few auctions have gone for in 'completed listings'? I'm sure they're not that expensive.

yeah the last one from spain sold for 152 but the box was busted up ... my research on worthpoint.com and some other sources shows that last year they were going for 150 mint in box with decent condition boxes and now a krang OUT of box is going for like 200 and the sealed one i got an offer to buy at 700! who the hell randomly thought this should be the new price... bunch of terds

Renewed interest thanks to the new 2012 cartoon and classic cartoon lines is probably also helping to drive up the price.
I'm astounded at how much the loose 11" Krang Android Body is selling for. But, I'm sure plenty of people are after one to pose with their new classic figures (just like me).

Not only are the MISB Krangs prices really high, but I'm finding so many MOC figures super high. I mean you used to be able to buy the entire set of Toon Turtles minus the cycle for $49. + shipping, now. not so much.
I was lucky and got a lot of MISB items for 295.00 which included a Krang, but due to the imperfections of the other items I haven't been able to sell them. So yeah, "dear ebay, stop being so frustrating."
Keep your eyes open though on the Krang's you never know someone could be going through an attic and not know a thing about its value.

His point is we have a thread to ask general questions such as this to avoid clutter.

not to be devils advocate but wouldn't a question given one of this nature really be subject to interpretation to determine which thread it belongs in? either way if it it was posted in the wrong area my apologies...

i assume its a bin price. cause it shouldnt go for that at all. but i got a krang 11", killerbee, needlenose, and psyco cycle for $200 shipped off ebay in one auction. krangs name was noware in the title and just randomly came across them. all the boxes are just mer perfect unopened. people didnt know what they had. :) the krang i sent in for grading to AFA cause it was just too perfect.
but i have a 11" Krang NIB up for auction right now on ebay. fyi. box has some dings box its still unopened. i started the auction at $25 and just see where it goes.

You can try to sound smart as much as you want, but the point is, we have a thread for quick questions that this would have been better suited in, to avoid clutter caused by threads that make a brief statement, see a handful of posts, then die off. Nobody was trying to make a big deal of it, just sayin'.
