Yeah, I didn't check other sections of the board, the dvd set is a collectors set and belongs in the merchandise section. But thanks for pointing out there is another thread in a wrong section. Either way it's awesome.

Listen, weizie. I realize that you believe yourself to be in the right here, but let's use some logic for a moment. This is something that was just recently announced to be a forthcoming release, right? That means that it's news! While news can fit in many other sections of the board, the fact that it's news takes precedence over any other category that topic can fit in.

You can ignore this logic and throw more sarcasm out if you wish, but I should hope that you can understand your mistake with a little more dignity now that I've explained it.

I don't use the rest of the areas of the board. I collect turtle figures/merch/collectibles, so i stick where i need to be. I did a search in the collectibles and merchandise section, and found nothing here. SO i figured i would share the information that i saw on IGN.....BUT it is no reason for anyone to be getting upset. Jesus, its a post about a collection that i thought others would enjoy knowing about. AND if it was really such a big deal, then the mods should have already messaged me and deleted the post. People around here get so bent out of shape when some one does something nice but isn't aware its already been talked about somewhere else. Everyone realize it isn't a big deal and move on to another post if you know about it or don't want to actually discuss it.....AND if you are wanting to use logic, that's fine. SO all NEWS of toy/statue upcoming new releases belong in the general discussion section as well then? so they should not be discussed in here? As i said, using logic, I posted it here, because it is a DVD collection in a collectors case (never posted anything about any of the seasons being released, the difference here is the collectors case). Being a collectors item, it belongs in this section. SO i am not wrong. The only thing i did wrong, was not check that it wasn't mentioned in other section. Either way, to each their own. I see where your coming from, Im usually only on this board and your post was the first I had seen of it. So I thank you. Usually if i see something posted more than once I just ignore it not make a big deal about it. It might be news to someone else.

I was totally unaware of it until I saw this thread. I too click right on toy and collectibles discussion whenever I come here and don't bother looking at the rest of the site, which I'm sure is excellent.
Anyway it seems pretty awesome and the price is reasonable for all the content you get. As someone previously mentioned it's kinda weak that those of us who allready purchased all this before get the shaft, but the manufacturers know we'll buy the same thing over and over again as long as it's a little different or better each time.
I wish I could buy just the van case, that's the best part.
You know what would be even better is if it came with the figures from the last DVD release and had space in the van for them.

It does suck for those who havr bought it singly this whole time, but I held off in hopes of a box set. Damn am I glad I did. This with the real ghostbusters will be great. Now I'll just need tail spin, duck tails, rescue rangers, darkwing duck, etc.
