View Full Version : Mirage TMNT Coloring

I'll likely do more, but in my rare downtime I've randomly felt like coloring some random panels from TMNT. I really love the very early stuff but I think I'm slightly too lazy to go through and edit the toning off the images, so I went with something from volume 4.

Lines by Jim Lawson. Quite a bit different style than what I did for the April Micro, but I figured something more sharp and bright would compliment his stuff. If I can ever bring myself to take the toning off some of the early Mirage stuff, I would likely take a grittier route.

that is some excellent coloring Heather! if you don't mind my asking... what software do you use to color digitally?

Lampy, I use Adobe Photoshop CS3 with a Wacom Intuos 4 tablet.

this is amazing, can't wait to see more, it reminds me of the old turtle stickers from the 90's, maybe ill print one out on sticky paper

I think this thread should be stickied. I'd love to see what other dromers can do with this. Seeing powder's coloring on duncans art shows how much talent we have here in the drome. Its crazy...
