This may seem out of topic, but the following picture isn't.
The picture below is from "Batman: the Dark Knight Returns Part 1" movie. Additionally, I'd like to point out that Rob Paulsen is voicing one of them. It's VERY obvious who it is.
I just find it ironic the name of the guy walking beside him.
Let's call it a little TMNT easter egg, shall we? ;P

It's not a reference to TMNT. Those characters were in the book. A book published before the Turtles show existed.

No cigar.

Holy coincidence,Batman!

That is two Batman projects for Rob this year.Townsend and Cam joined him on Lego Batman 2 where Rob played my second favorite villain Riddler.

Hah. I never claimed that scene to be a reference to TMNT. I just posted something involving names related to TMNT, nothing more.

And good for me. I don't smoke.

Speaking of Rob, I KNEW the Riddler's voice sounded familiar! XD

I was gonna say; This came out way before the 80's Turtle toon appeared.

Big deal. Do you have any idea how often the same voice actors work together for different shows? Heck, just look at the cast list for the classic TMNT series and compare it to The Tick. Both shows had Rob, Cam, Townsend, Pat Fraley and a couple other mutual voice actors.

Yes, in fact I do. Since I am very fond of voice acting in general, I look up voice actors' works on Imdb, and whenever I enjoyed a show, I browse through several websites to see who worked on it, check out some interesting trivia, etc. The Tick is no exception. However, if you KNEW what this topic was about in the first place, then you WOULDN'T have posted this, so your comment has no connection/relation to what we're discussing here.

Ugh, this is completely ridiculous, but it looks like I have to do this since people are completely deviating from the purpose of this thread...

READ the following before ANY of you post ANYTHING:

To clarify my intentions, I just posted this image to reflect the idea that Rob Paulsen has returned to the TMNT franchise by voicing Don: the guy "Rob" is voiced by Rob Paulsen, and the guy "Don" next to him symbolizes a future character he's voicing, which is Donatello from TMNT. There. It's a small thing, albeit insignificant, but some people out there like these kind of things, which is the case for MikeandRaph87 (thanks, by the way).

To everybody else,

I never said ANYTHING about a scene being a TMNT reference in the Batman comic book. This was a purely fun, coincidental and innocent find that I thought might be fun sharing with fellow TMNT fans.

I never said ANYTHING about the likeliness of voice actors voicing in the same show. While I am talking about a voice actor, I'm talking about the IMAGE representing a voice actor's situation.

Yeah, it's no big deal, and was never meant to be a big deal, but people SEEM to make a big deal out of it. I just find it hilarious that people can't learn to appreciate something as small as this, and instead go picking on people's "mistakes" just so they have all the reasons to vent out their anger and feel satisfied about it. At least that's the impression I'm being given, and I can only chuckle at that. Hah.

Well, I guess one of the mistakes I can acknowledge is assuming that most people around here would tolerate a purely innocent thread like this one and act maturely on it. Out of all of you, MikeandRaph87 was the only one who expressed his/her enthusiasm/appreciation about this thread, though its contents were small and somewhat insignificant, and I am very thankful for that.

Now, with that out of the way, anybody else want to show me how immature they really are by pointing out the painfully obvious points and thus deviate further from the subject? No? Then please ignore the ravings from above and enjoy! ;)

This thread was super pointless and you shouldn't have bothered replying to anyone, either. All you did was get mad from it.

Yeah, I guess I did... Oh well, if somebody wants to close this thread, they're free to do it.

Powder's right. To me it felt like all you were doing was pointing out some random connection between two different properties. People have been doing that a lot lately, BTW.

"Check it out! Borderlands 2 has four main characters who all like pizza! They have a lot in common with the TMNT!" Give me a break! :trazz:
