So I Just Saw A Bumper For The "Morning With Michelangelo" And Mikey Will Have A Cat In The New Series! He Is Holding It (It Is A Small Black Cat) And Says To The Turtle (Or Splinter) "Come On! We'll Be Best Buds!". This Is Pretty Cool That Both Mikey And Raph Will Have Pets In the New Series. What Do You Guys Think?

I love it!people are learning about theseves from living with a pet and for characters such as raph, a sometimes loner in his incapabillity to cope with his emotions and michelangelo who I guess by being the 'runt of the litter' these animal(not-mutated) companinions could have real benefit there;)...
I hope his cat is named klunk!;)

Klunk was a gray tomcat in the orginal mirage comics, he was never supposed to orange which I always thought was done to match Mikey's orange bandanna in the 2k3 show, which is somewhat lame if you ask me. So this cat being black is not bad and doesn't go against any cannon.

I've seen that picture before. The full on image shows Raphael dancing and going gaga over a blonde April.

That is SOO not Klunk. I've said it before that it's obviously Figaro and he simply got lost on his way to Storybrooke, Maine. :P

only quoted the package description of the michelangelo toy from playmates there...I meant that he at times must feel SOME kind of frustration being the youngest(and the shortest, too)..you know a little set back in some situations...
apart from that I agree with you that this michelangelo shouldn t be kiddified too much..I find him to have wonderful potential to be maybe the fun one that small children watching the show can identify easily with but at the same time sympathetic guy that anybody can relate too...one says drama appeals to the emotion and humour appeals to the intellect..so there is mucho growth possibillity in that character in my eyes....so far though it looks to me that they are doing a nice job on mike...

I wouldn't say that. Keep in mind Karai is going to be in the new series at some point. Besides I'm pretty sure the writers did their homework and researched both the Mirage comics and the 4Kids toon.

You do realize Klunk originated from Mirage, right? I also wouldn't say Klunk was not important to 2k3, given that his "death" was pretty significant to the plot of the episode "Bad Day".

Actually, Klunk wound around Leo's leg I believe in "Dragons Rising" and he also nuzzled Leo's hand in "Prodigal Son."

I ask Peter Laird about Klunk being a male or female and what kind of breed it is. He respond me that he and Kevin did not specified the breed or if Klunk is male or female.

I would like to see Klunk in the 2012 series.:)
