Well, we've arrived at perhaps the last big poll for the vintage figures, combining the standard figures and most of the Toon figures. Sales were sagging around this time, and as a result it is difficult to find complete and loose figuresfrom these lines, though there was still lots of creativity done for this year. I've left out Robotic Bebop and Robotic Rocksteady as I plan on doing a special Bebop and Rocksteady figure poll from their special 1992-1996 figures in a separate poll for the next installment.

EDIT: "King Lionheart" should be "Sandstorm"

Had to show Irma some love. She was the only figure left at my local walmart back in the day well after the original tmnt line was canned. I think the last time i saw her there was in 2001 discounted down to 1.00. Never did pick her up.

I voted for Mona Lisa because as much as I love the entire concept of Half Court and King Lionheart, she is the only one of the three that I owned that I can still locate.

She's sitting up on the shelf next to Hank Scorpio and Unicron

I had to go with Halfcourt, it's one of the few figures that I still have from when I was a kid and I still love it.

Wasn't King Lionheart 1992? Where is Sandstorm?

I loved the four toon turtles. The head spinning, tongue sticking out, eye balls sticking out, bandanna twirling was so cool! REminds me of the older ghostbusters figures!

I voted for Burne. Hot Spot is a very close second. I just loved that Burne's navel was exposed and that he had toilet paper stuck to his shoe.

My point goes to Irma. Very similar to the cartoon character like the other toon figures except the turtles, but she has more charisma.

I'll go with Monalisa or Irma, I liked the Neutrino figures but can really stand the characters..

My vote was gonna go to Sandstorm but since he's not there, Toon Leo got it.

Toon Vernon and Burne are the best (in that order). Also Scratch and Sandstorm.
The Toon line is excellent.

Sandstorm gets my vote, but I also love the Toon Turtles.

I voted for Toon Dask, given how accuratly it is drawn, particualrly its head. I also like Vernon, Kala, and Zak since they look quite well drawn and have nice accessories. If you take away the rarity factor, Scratch seems just like an average cat figure to me, and the accessories aren't that great. Mona Lisa is cute and is a great ally to the Turtles. Hot Spot could have been the Dogpound of the '90s, but just didn't get take notice since he's a pretty good figure. Robotic Bebop and Rocksteady are a great way to recreate the scene from Super Rocksteady and Mighty Bebop, provided you can make a custom Channel 6 building. But there are some shortcomings, even if this is a pretty good year for figures. Halfcourt could have had a longer neck since he's a giraffe. Toon Leo is just awful, in particular its head. But Irma seems to be the laughingstock of this line, with the colors all off and only the hairstyle and glasses having any resemblance to the animated counterpart. Burne isn't too bad, but his shirt should have been light blue. At least most of the Toon figures, especially the humans and Neutrinos. have great accessories.

I voted Scratch, first of all for the reason that he was the only bad guy released in 1993, excluding the two robots that I tend to consider as variations of Rocksteady and Bebop. I also think he's pretty cool, even if Playmates could have made him look more evil and rotten, like his counterpart Hallocat in the comics. I never owned nor will I probably ever own his accessories, I gave him some regular burglar weapons (pistol, crowbar, bag of coins) off other series to fill the gap. Still I checked today a close picture of the "fish club" and it looks great, a dead, half-decomposed fish. Much in the vein of regular crazy Playmates weaponary.

Hey, where's Toon Shredder? He was the other cool release in 1993! I absolutely love his cartoon-accurate colours and the details of the eyes. A pity he's so scarce and, much like the whole Toon Line, was never released over here in Italy. I would have bought it at once. This is the Shredder I dreamt about as a kid, having never liked the early, bare-chested, blue-armored one.

Mona Lisa comes close third, awesome figure, very beautiful sculpt and rubber-like material in her arms and tail in particular. Her accessories only are a bit lame, mostly repaints of stuff already seen.

Toon Dask and Kala are other favourites, I like their accessories and the way they look close to the cartoon versions. Btw I hated the Neutrinos in the cartoon, and bought Zak when he was released with reluctance, just for collector's purposes. But Kala and Dask look great and the three together made me appreciate these space brats 25 years later.

Vernon is pretty ok too, still waiting for Burne to arrive at my place for some closer consideration. Irma looks indeed pretty awful, especially the colours. And to think she looked so cute in the cartoon.

Sandstorm and Half Court are nice characters too, I like both. Unfortunately they never made it to neither the cartoon or comics, and the French card I bought had not even the profile printed on the back, so I absolutely had no clue about who these guys were.

They were all too stylized and glossy to my liking. I'm pretty sure that children just want an action figure, and not a fancy figure. Every figure was starting to look like statues in '93 also. You can look at Scratch, and see that right away. These were the start of the decline to me.

I went with Burne. Love the crumbliness going on with the one.
I do like the C9 cast having their own figures, and one day, I might get em.
