I've seen a few concept sketches for various figures (ex: Mutagen Man: http://www.comicvine.com/dupe/29-55985/all-images/108-210863/tmnt_mutagenconcept/105-751691/) and I love seeing the 'idea phase' that lead to an actual action figure.
I was wondering if there's a resource out there that brings together a lot of concept sketches for the classic action figures that anyone knows about?

That Mutagen man concept sketch was posted by Peter Laird on his blog. I think you should find more there.
A concept art book would be incredible. Just dreaming :tgrin:

Like frank one said, Peter Laird's TMNT Blog posts a ton of that stuff. I think the Lavigne-Brown blog posted some of it, too.
I'd love to see such a concept art book!! Playmates, you reading this?!

Maybe we could at least try to consolidate what pictures we're aware of here in this thread. I really enjoyed looking at Peter's sketch of Mutagen Man. What else is out there?

Thanks for the tips re: Laird's blog. Lots of great stuff there - makes me wish a lot of those were made into figures (maybe some will as the new line gains momentum...?)
