I would like to see an incarnation where Tang Shen survives and mutates the way Yoshi does. I have no thoughts beyond that, I just think it would be a good way to explore the character, despite her (mostly) superficial role in Turtles lore.

I was thinking the same thing I'm still kinda hoping that she will appear reincarnated in the idw series.

Mutated into what animal? Wouldn't it be better to use 1987 show or Archie, because of the way the mutagen works.

I would like to see a cartoon where Tang Shen is actually alive in the present at some point, not just some stories about her in the past where she is killed before the cartoon begins.

Or perhaps Yoshi leaves thinking she is dead, but she survives and becomes an enemy believing Yoshi abandoned her.

She wasn't going to mutate. She would stay human while Splinter mutated from pet rat to humanoid rat. Like I said, it was set in the 2K3 series, but I haven't updated it in forever. I might take a crack at it again though.
