The original cartoon came up with the idea, and then it was used again in the 4kids series and the Nick cartoon. In the comics the Turtles have never used communicators to keep in touch with one another while on missions, so what was your favorite name for them?

Turtle Comm, Shell Cell, or T-Phone?

I also love how all 3 names represent the level of technology we had at the time, (80's communicators/walkie talkies, Shell Cell for early 2003-era cell phones, and T-phone is an obvious play on I-Phone)

Turtlecom because it is the most original and most hi-tech of its era in a time when even a brick cell phone was hi-tech. I still dream that a mobile corporation would simply make a Turtlecom today since it would be the first smartphone that I'd buy. Shell-cell is fine since it rhymes, but just feels like a typical feature phone of its era. T-Phone is lame and really could just be another way to say "telephone".

All of the names are good for me. I don't mind any of them. Actually, T-Phone could also mean Turtlephone. That's how I interpreted it.

I like the Turtle Comm, but for some reason my heart kinda goes toward the Shell Cell moreso. Maybe I like the overall design of it.
