Hello Everyone, its been a few months since I posted my last animation test (Shredder) using the software CAcani.

Click on the link to watch the animation test.
What you are seeing is two Animation Key Frames I drew of Raphael. After one pass of automatic interpolation I converted one In-between frame as a key and tweaked it to get better results on a second interpolation pass. Then Auto-colored the scene.
For those who do not understand the process of animation. Essentially The lead artist draws the raw key poses and then the assistants draw the individual drawings that fill in gaps between the main keys. This software basically creates the in-between automatically without the need of extra hands.
Maybe I'll do one of Hun next?!
Enjoy

Very cool. Nice to see the 4kids-era Turtles production stuff now that the new Nick toon series is out.
Glad to see this series isn't forgotten.

Sounds simple to do, but I'm sure it's tough.
Hun would be cool. Try and challenge yourself to make it 5 - 10 seconds.

The Boardman, what do you find the most tedious steps in animation, and how do you grasp the concepts the easiest? That was a nice job recreating 4kids Raph, even if that kaleidoscope effect was a bit bizarre (though funny).

Yes I worked all throughout the 2k3 series of the turtles until the last 2d Movie before selling the IP to Viacom.
My favorite work I did was "Same as it Never Was". The last act of the storyboard sucked a lot out of me since in-improvised a lot of what you see on the final show and wasn't written on the script. Well not everything I improvised I had to followed the basic key points of the story and main dialogue but i filled in a lot of the action gaps. It was very cool since the director gave us freedom on it. That storyboard section was so long that they even briefly though that it could make an extra episode. But of course that wasn't going to happen.
In animation the most tedious part is the in-betweens and clean up, because it of the redundancy of the work.
