Confusing Airing Times for the Episodes

Ok so now it has just been confirmed Episode 9 "The Gauntlet" WILL Air this Saturday, so my question is does this mean next weeks Episode will be the one delayed? Also what the heck is up with UK's Airing Times, Why are they having a break? They will be back Saturday 24th but still...

So don't think just because a website says it won't air that it..won't air, just tune in every saturday. And Finally why did they (supposedly) change the Titles of the new Episodes? This is gonna be confirmed when the episode comes out so we'll see if Episode 9 will still be called "Enter Shredder".

As a UK fan I agree that the break sucks (especially when they aired a "next week" promo after the last episode) but I think I know why they did it.

Airing on Monday the UK has always been 2 days behind the US (fantastic for UK fans), moving it to Saturday means we'd technically be getting it before the US due to the time difference so they needed to push it back a week. Hence we're having a 2 week break whilst you guys are having a 1 week break (no idea why that is!) On 24th US will pick up with The Gauntlet and the UK will be 1 episode behind with Never Say Xever. Sucks for UK fans, but 1 week is still a LOT better than any other US show I watch. Just hope we don't start slipping any further behind.

It wouldn't make a difference if the UK and US had the same episode on the same day since everything is digitally distributed nowadays, and people on the US west coast if they don't have certain TV providers need to wait three hours to avoid spoilers. The move to Saturday for the UK is likely a move to improve ratings. And the new episode titles could be possible since working titles sometimes aren't final, just like "Rise of the Turtles" originally had a working title of "Day One" in the Random House books, and I like the title "The Gauntlet" better than "Enter Shredder" since its too similar to the OT episode of the same name plus it sounds more interesting, not to mention we've seen Shredder a few times already.

I know it wouldn't make a difference in terms of distribution, but it'd be very unlikely they'd move the UK airing ahead of the US airing even if it was only by a few hours (not that I'd complain!)

Maybe they wanted more time to make their annoying edits? :tlol:

We're having a one week break because of Thanksgiving. It's the start of the holiday season.

Yeah, there's a holiday season and most likely people will be gone for the weekend visiting family. So, they're giving us a break for that and will resume with new episodes after that. No problem for me, though I'm not sure if I'll be able to see the new ep right away because Mom wants to go to some art show.
