Okay, so we got some pretty well known TV/Movie/Cartoon personalities already doing voice work in Nickelodeon's TMNT, though we're only about half a season in. There's no telling who may or may not show up! That being said, I thought I'd make a small list of voice actors and on-screen talent I'd love to have providing their vocal talent at some point.

Tara Strong is a well accomplished voice actress and she's pretty chummy with Rob Paulsen. Aside from that, one of Tara's previous roles was Raven from Teen Titans, so it'd especially be cool if we got to hear her chemistry with Greg Cipes again!

Dan Castellaneta has played God knows how many iconic characters on The Simpsons, and he was also Robin Williams' replacement for Genie in the Aladdin TV series. I'd be giddy as heck if they gave him a role!

I really like Melissa Rauch from The Big Bang Theory She's only been on that show since early season 3, but her character cracks me up every time she's on screen! I could definitly picture her playing an Irma like character!

Another actor on my wish list is Topher Grace from That 70s Show and the infamous Spider-Man 3. He also did a pretty good job once as a one-shot character on The Simpsons, so I think he'd do pretty well on a show like Ninja Turtles.

Anyway, that's all I have on my wish list. Feel free to post your own!

I'm not sure if there's one particular actor or actors I want mainly because I've been so impressed with the cast the voice director has already assembled. As long as they keep doing what they're doing, I'm happy!

Cam Clarke deserves an appearance on the show. He was really ticked when he was told not to even bother, and rightfully so. He's nearly as much of a legend as Paulsen.

i think steve blum, who's the current voice for wolverine in a bunch of stuff as well as spike speigel from cowboy bebop and mugen from samurai champloo would be a great bad guy. he's always playing these kinda morally ambiguous characters and it'd be cool to finally hear him play a straight up bad guy.

and johnny yong bosch too. vash the stampede from trigun and kaneda from the redubbed akira. been a fan of his since he was the second black ranger.

...Id like to hear myself on this show...would work tirelessly to deliver an interesting, fitting job...I did contact nickelodeon germany on many an occasion in order to cast for any role in this show, but never heard anything back from them...

so, is this real?maybe not...but did I wish to be on the show?shell yeah!

You know what would be awesome, as much as I hate the characters: Tress MacNeille returning as Kala and Dask and Zak being voiced by Jess Harnell and (though he's already a series regular) Rob Paulsen. It'd be a great Animaniacs reunion.

Anybody that Rob Paulsen has interviewed with on Talkin' Toons who hasn't appeared yet on the show. Though if I had to pick one that I'd love to hear the most, who hasn't yet appeared on Rob's podcast, it would have to be Pat Fraley whenever the "leader" of the Kraang shows up, with Nolan North playing off of the leader sounding like fun. Pat is still very active in the VO world and recently had an interview with VO Buzz Weekly.

Somehow you've missed an entire sect of the animation fandom. :P

Let's see...I second Tara Strong, she's an amazing actress that I'd love to see make an appearance on the show, and technically she'd be a returning TMNT actress, after having a small part in the CG movie.

I'd also absolutely love to hear Cam Clarke, Townsend Coleman, or Barry Gordon on the show, for hilarity's sake. Maybe in some kind of episode where the Turtles are discovered and turned into some kind of kid's show, and they play the 'fake' Turtles...complete with someone doing a Brooklyn voice for Raph. Oh the fourth wall breaking. I know this is unlikely with what they told Cam though, which still peeves me.

Oh, and James Avery too, even though he hasn't done any voice work in years that I'm aware of.

Beyond that, um...Jim Cummings would be awesome, Peter Cullen maybe, my girlfriend would get a kick out of that. More people from Avatar, I know I have a friend who would die from happiness if Casey was the Zuko guy, because then her Zuko/Katara heart could live vicariously through it...I know I'd love it if I could hear Toph again.

Ooh! Travis Willingham and Laura Bailey have both made it into domestic animation lately, so hearing them in Turtles would be a big geek moment for me. Maybe Kyle Hebert too since he's trying to break more into that.

I'll stop for now, I'm sure I can think of more later.:D

In keeping with my Animaniacs reunion idea, any way to bring in Cam, Townsend, and Barry would be cool.
Pat, James, Renae, Peter, and Jim would also be solid additions. If Jim Cummings never appears in this show, then I don't know why. (Well...maybe he's tied to much to Disney as the voice of Pete, Tigger and Pooh.)

Just laziness. I don't feel like typing Cam Clarke, Barry Gordon, Townsend Coleman, et all over and over again.

That and I'm pretty sure most people involved would know who he meant even with only the first names...besides, most voice actors I've talked to seem to prefer you call them by first name rather than the whole 'Mr. or Mrs. Last Name' stuff.

Billy West would be another good choice. He's known for bringing vocal life to some iconic characters, from Ren and Stimpy to Fry and Zoidberg!

Remembered somebody that I completely overlooked - Will Friedle! I'm a big fan of his, even going back to his live action work on Boy Meets World, and he's a good VA, so I'd love to hear him on Turtles.

...Heck, depending on how they write the character, I could hear him for Casey. He's done good work in more action-oriented toons before.

Will Friedle did play Terry Ginness in Batman Beyond.I do like his voice.He was good as Ron Stoppable from Kim Possible.I would like Kath Soucie or Jennifer Hale to play a female character as well maybe a certian female salamader.

But yeah Blum would be cool but at the same time if he did voice a villian it would run the risk of being an Amon expy... Grey would be awesome as well...

Dante can change his voice up (Jake sounds nothing like Zuko after-all) I say he only used Zuko's voice for Iroh-II because they were related... I say he would definitly use a different voice (probably more Jake like) if he got the role as Casey he's a pretty good VA

Thanks. Just this morning I figured out his last name due to the fact that someone added him as the actor for Casey on the TMNT Wikia. That had to have stemmed from this discussion, so whichever of you wieners did that, stop it.

I just felt it was weird that Jest' got s**t for naming names that in context most people should know, but someone random and thus far unaffiliated with the series gets posted a few posts down by first name only? That's nuts.

I've never seen more than four episodes of Airbender so I have no idea how good this guy would be. He looks familiar though.

It's not surprising that there'd be rumors about Basco, considering they got Mae Whitman as April. Like I said, Avatar fans wanting to live vicariously through them. :P

I tried to make sure I used the full names of any actor/actress I mentioned, at least the first time around I posted them, but after that I kinda just assumed they could be figured out. Or that most people posting in this particular thread know voice actors by name.

I normally do, but I've seen like a total of one thing the dude was in (an episode of Lilo & Stitch, which I don't remember how he sounded) so I was like... who now?

It gets confusing when you get those actors with common names though lol. Not everyone's a Kaiji or Kimlinh.

Someone earlier said they'd like to see Michael Rosembaum play a voice, which I would love since he never got to do any scenes as Kid Flash opposite Greg Cipes as Beast Boy in Teen Titans. I could definitly see him as Mondo Gecko, though in this iteration I'd like him to have more of a Marty McFly kinda personality instead of the heavy metal stuff we saw in the Archie comics.

Wouldn't it be awesome if Jackie Chan stopped by one episode to hand out a cameo voice.

Perhaps as an original character based on the real Jackie Chan, a kung-fu action star that the turtles has to safe and protect then work with.

It's just... Jackie Chan has started making a little voice-work on Kung-fu Panda.

And it would just be such a great tribute to the man whom brought "Martial arts slapstic." to main-stream hollywood and perfected the art.

You know... the sort of stuff this new show is actually doing a lot of just in animated form.

I just thought it could be a great little nodge to the many things that has helped making this genre so popular, that this new turtle show is striving on, and I think Jackie Chan must be a factor along-side imported Anime from Japan. It could be a cool tribute, same way as every single huperhero show has an "Adam West." cameo in there some-where. It's almost tradition around now.
You have a superhero show, you must have an Batman parody with Adam West in it. Let Jackie Chan be this shows Adam West is all I am saying X)
