Anyone bought the season pass on amazon or itunes for season 1 volume 1? Thinking about it but will wind up buying them on dvd so don't really want to pay double however I do like the ability to watch them at my convenience. How many days after the new episodes air will they post on itunes and amazon?

Preference as to whether to purchase off of itunes or amazon? Itunes seems to get the episodes faster..

Yeah itunes gets them like the day after they air. Amazon however with the first few episodes, they were available the next day. But lately theyve been slacking and it takes upto 2 or 3 days. Episode 9 still isnt available for me and it's Monday.

I purchased the season pass from Itunes. The episodes generally appear on Sundays. I get a notification in my email when the eps show up. It's really helpful to me as Im not always home on saturdays to watch the show on tv. So sunday mornings I can just turn on itunes, legally download the latest ep, and watch. It's a great feature for those like me who don't have a DVR or any other way to record the eps off the tv.

They put them on at midnight the day its released.

I'm passing on the pass. Watching a new episode via live or DVR is enough for me, plus I can always wait until Nick puts on the set of episodes for me to rewatch in cycles of three, with subpar Youtube videos as a last resort if I can't wait for the rerun. I'll wait until the DVD releases (and especially when I can get them for a discount) in terms of owning them on video.

We're barely ten episodes in, pal. And I highly doubt this series will get ANY Blu releases, 'cause Nick doesn't do that much.

all i've read is speculation about this being released on dvd but i was curious about the blu ray..that's why i was asking

Actually, there's no more speculation - there's a very bare DVD (http://www.amazon.com/Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtles-Rise/dp/B00AEVXGFG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1354668646&sr=8-1&keywords=rise+of+the+turtles) coming out. Only 6 episodes. :cry:
