Although it is still in its plastic bag and everything, there seems to be a piece of newspaper wedged between shredder and the background :-? is this common?

Any help is appreciated :)

Yeah, I got it from Ebay AU

But it hasn't been opened, staples are still intact.

Well, I doubt it. Its laready been matted and stuff plus it has that clear plastic protection cover on it. Besides, the newspaper isn't really that noticeable, you can only see it when you look really close. :) I was just basically wondering if anyone else had the same sort of thing happen to them :)

Supersize the picture, and then zoon in on Shredders pointing arm, about where his shoulder guard is, you can see some white paper, its only small, but its there :)

Well, I honestly don't see anything in that picture, but here's a guess..

For every animation cell there is a pencil drawing. The pencil drawing is usually kept together with the cel. Often they will get stuck together because all the paint on the back of the cel and the flimsiness of the paper. When they decided to mass market the cells, they needed to seperate the cells from the pencil drawings. So perhaps you're seeing a slight remnant of a pencil drawing.

Yeah, the pic is bad, its kinda hard to see unless you actually have the item :wink:
