Nickelodeon TMNT Toys Coming To Mcdonalds

Hey everyone, 8 brand new TMNT toys from the new nickelodeon show are coming soon to Mcdonalds! Here's a link.

Not a big fan of them, they don't look very good. It seems that the first set of turtles will have an action feature and the other set is a pull back and go set.

It's not that. Look at the Rise of the Guardians stuff. It looks infinitely better than the Turtles ones. Heck the white haired guy and the rabbit look like real store-bought figures on initial glance.

Yes, Burger King did the 2k3 toys, but Nickelodeon's license is with Mcdonald's. (They have spongebob toys there sometimes)

XD Mcdonald's never really does a good paint job on their toys, so I wasn't suprised when I saw the turtles. Donnie and Mikey (not the ones on the motorcycles) are probably the best of the bunch. Raph's hands look like Boxing Gloves, and Leo looks like he is missing chunks of his chest, but this is probably for the action feature.

I hope McDonalds could learn from Burger King about how to promote the Turtles, but simply starting with a set of eight is a nice start, and having things such as single-episode DVDs or a free episode code to a mobile device could come later on. The sewer covers are a nice touch on the standard figures, though the weapons look a bit off, especially Michelangelo's. Expect the plastic material similar to the 2007 movie toys, I wish they made Michelangelo's vehicle more orangish as opposed to brown, which looks more suitable for Splinter.

I think there is 2 different toys each week, so to get the entire set it would take 4 weeks.

The new promomotional toys in this case TMNT/Mochi Monsters are released on a Thursday (unless they make a mistake).

McDonalds has an order for the toys, but they barely follow it, sometimes I go to 3 McDonalds/Burker King in a day and they have different toys. The last time I did this was for the MLP:FiM toys.

Don't forget to ask if they have the toys for kids younger than 3, sometimes the toddler's toy is also based on the promos, but they don't display them, learned that the hard way.

Got the 2 Donny's today, #1 and #2. A happy meal for my boy and a mighty kids meal for me lol. Happened to me at the second one I went to. That was always my biggest problem with the boy/girl toy happy meals.

There was also the one that didn't put in a toy at all.

All you have to do is specify that you would like a boy toy if they refuse to oblige then they arent doing their job and you should ask to speak with a manager, i've given away numerous toys for my employees ignorance.

The "Moshi Monsters" toy is apart of the girls half of the TMNT/Moshi Monsters promotion, so for that they just didn't listen to you, couldn't tell the difference, or just grabbed the first toy they saw. As for the "Avatar Horse" I have no idea what that's all about. Also, what do you mean that it was featured on the menu?

Yeah, that's the one. I should have checked but the drive-though way jammed and I just pulled away without thinking about it. I was just happy to survive the parking lot without getting hit. I'll know for the next time.

you can buy the toys by themselves. i got both mikeys for a buck.62 each. what sucks is that i went to 2 different mickey deez and they both only had mikeys. i asked if they ran out or were going to recieve different ones at a later time and both managers told me they only get sent one shipment for the time the promotions going on and its random which toys they get. that doesn't make sense to me at all, but like i said 2 different ones in two totally different parts of town told me that. :x

I caught a McDonalds who had all 8 toys in stock so also got the whole set for 80 cents a piece. Many people on this thread have been complaining about the quality of these toys. I've been buying kids meals for my 4 year old over the years and as far as "toys that come with the meal" go, these are actually pretty good. I admit that Happy Meal toys were better quality in general when I was a kid in the 80's and 90's. But a lot of them now adays are complete (often pointless) crap. Often times just pieces of cardboard! So these are actually pretty good in comparison. My boy has the compete Playmates basic line and get's just as much enjoyment playing with these Happy Meal toys as he does those. Although the same probably wouldn't hold true for an 8 year old.

I got all 4 main turtle figures and then an extra raph to open. i dont really plan to get any of the bike toys but if i get them when i get food or my little brother gets one and gives me it then i'll stick it in my collection. i like the figures but their weapons look like crap. the lady at the drive thru described the leo figure as "we have the one with blue and hes swinging around some kind of sticks..." she was kinda spaced though

I caught a McDonalds who had all 8 toys in stock so also got the whole set for 80 cents a piece. Many people on this thread have been complaining about the quality of these toys. I've been buying kids meals for my 4 year old over the years and as far as "toys that come with the meal" go, these are actually pretty good. I admit that Happy Meal toys were better quality in general when I was a kid in the 80's and 90's. But a lot of them now adays are complete (often pointless) crap. Often times just pieces of cardboard! So these are actually pretty good in comparison. My boy has the compete Playmates basic line and get's just as much enjoyment playing with these Happy Meal toys as he does those. Although the same probably wouldn't hold true for an 8 year old.

our mcdonalds charged around $1.25 each. i bought raph and then got the other 3 turtles in meals, we had to exchange for them inside tho

I've only been able to get a Leo and Raph so far. Many of the McDonalds I went to when the promotion started claimed they didn't have the toys. I received an e-mail yesterday stating that the promotion is over on the 10th. So I'm in a desperate search for Don and Mike.

Those displays are amazing, KenStole! If I ever get one, I would totally hang it on my wall.

Over here, McDonald's just started selling the TMNT toys. Unfortunately (and just like the 2007 movie), we'll only be getting four toys: the action figures for Leo and Don and the Motorcycle toys for Mike and Raph.

I got Donnie and I think he looks really nice displayed on a shelve. His green color is the same as the Playmates toy, which is very thoughtful I think. Can't wait to get the rest!
