I really wish nick would have some type of marathon for the TMNT series.Because of the 10 o'clock time slot I am usually out on saturday mornings. They use to replay Saturday's episode the friday after.

I'm sure we'll be getting a Ninja Turtle marathon down the road. You just gotta be patient.

There probably will be one eventually. I'm just glad that they show the episode twice on Saturday's on Nick East and Nick West and replay them on Sundays, too. It gives more opportunities for people to watch them.

Maybe over the Christmas break when everyone stops airing new shows?

I'm sure once the season ends and the show goes on break, there'll be reruns all over the place, not to mention a marathon or two. I can't wait. :D

Maybe after the first 13 episodes. They're supposed to be 26 episodes total. So after those 13, there will be 13 more to go. I can see that happening. I remember a long time ago when iCarly was becoming a hit, it had a marathon during its first season. Am I wrong?

The best way to do it is make your personal marathon. You can have all episodes watched in sucession that has aired or watch half of it in any order. Its up to you as long as you have it archived on DVR or have a streaming link to it all.

You don't have to watch it at all, simply wait till 10am to turn the TV on and do something else in the morning like play videogames or just go on the internet.

You know you can watch other things and COME BACK to Nick for TMNT. It's not like they are forcing you to watch Sponge Bob....
Dear god...Cybercubed and I were on the same wave length...spooky.

ALWAYS with the Spongebob bashing.

I'm not looking to start an argument but I love SpongeBob. I purposely stay up late (I live in Brooklyn so on the Nicktoon's station they air two episodes one @ 12 and 12:30) to watch it (even thought I have be up at 6 for work) and I rather have SpongeBob come on before Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles then Victorious. Sorry and no offensive to the people on here who have young daughters who like the show.
Squidward: Patrick, you only live 400 yards away. Why do you want to check into a hotel?
Patrick: Sometimes I just need to get away from it all. [rings bell] Wow, this hotel has everything.
Sorry, it was just a random quote I picked, from one of my favorite episodes.
Personally,
I rather wait for the show to come out on DvD and Blu-ray with no commercial interruptions. Very much what I did with American Horror Story. I'll watch the show, watch it again on repeat, but if I want to have a marathon or watch with a friend, I'll flip a disc in the Blu-ray player.
BTW, off topic, does anyone know if the show will eventually get a Blu-ray release or will it be just a DvD release (I really hope it gets released on Blu-ray but if not I don't mind owning the DvD).
I know, the original show is not in HD but I would really love it if Lionsgate or Shout Factory! releases the original show on Blu-ray. Kind of hoping (high hopes I know) that the Turtle Van DvD set was a Blu-ray set.

A marathon would be most feasible during a summer weekend since we still have the Nick Jr. block, plus over Christmas there are other Nick shows that others want to see; plus its a good way to grab attention during the middle of a break between seasons. We never had an OT or 4kids marathon however, and if Nick ever brings those series back on one of their secondary channels, a great way to begin their re-airing would be to show a marathon of Seasons 1-2 in one day. But in the age of streaming/DVD releases, even if a marathon never comes to pass, our promotion can still help our support for the show.

I actually wish Nicktoons (despite their exclusive shows like Wild Grinders and Rush Zone and airing very little reruns of original Nickelodeon shows) would air the 1988-1996 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I once read that were going to air the 2003 series but I guess that dropped for whatever reason.

They paid $10 million to purchase the 4kids series, so unless they wanted to throw $10 million in the trash, they're probably going to want to make it back eventually by either airing it or releasing DVDs.

He has a point though. Why are you complaining about HAVING to watch Spongebob? There are like 10 billion other channels!
I'm sure the Food Network has something good on.

I'd have to agree with Stryker and everyone else actually. I hate Spongebob a lot myself (well, not hate really, I don't go out of my way to bash it, though I will crack jokes...I'm more apathetic, don't like the show, but don't really care if someone else does), but I'm also fully capable of changing channels if it's on and I don't wanna watch it. Or popping in a DVD. Or playing a game. Or reading a book. Or sleeping. Or...anything!
My point is, as everyone else has already said, if you don't wanna watch it, you don't have to. It's as simple as that.

I'm sure he's crying about it.
I wonder if that Spongebob christmas special is gonna be a lead in for Turtles one of these days. That'd be a pretty solid little block.

Ok I rake back what i said! But, I do want them to play it earlier because i have bar and bat mitzvahs every week (As i am in seventh grade) Abd they usually START at ten preventing me from watching it live.

ANYWAYYYYYYYYY.
I've found Amazon Prime video has pretty good marathon capabilities. Ep to ep and no commercials. Pretty solid but I didn't pay for most of my library so maybe I have a different view.

How'd we get from a tmnt marathon discussion to this bloody mess so quickly.
I loved Spongebob. I still like it, but not as much as before.
Well, I would love a tmnt marathon! :D
