I figured it'd be best to reintroduce myself since I've been AWOL for.. gosh 4 years?
Well, I grew up with TMNT, which showed up in my country in the early 90s. Some years were more TMNT obsessed for me than others, but the fascination is always there. I mainly fell in love with the OT, the first movie, the 2k3 series and the 2k7 movie. I am able to watch the 2k12 series thanks to a friend in the US who gets them for me from itunes, and I am really enjoying it as well! I can't wait till we get DVD releases of this new incarnation!
I never had the chance to read the comics because they don't reach here...until now! I found Vol. 1 of the IDW series in a book store and bought it in a heartbeat. I LOVED the book. The take on the origins story felt so fresh and exciting to me. I can safely say that I fell in love with this incarnation as well! (to my delight/dismay I discovered that there are 16 more books, plus micro-series and other books..better get ebaying soon!)
Anyways, long story short, there's so much going on for TMNT right now, I figured I HAD to be part of the community to share the joy and excitement. I am back! :)
