Fugi-relics

I was just looking at the Fugirelic that he signed that I bought from Peter Laird's Fugitree from 2009 Christmas. I never took it out of the box and saw it when I was filing away some recent merchandise to my TMNT collection this morning. Its a unique piece and among my favorites. I was wondering who else got one of 50 limited edition figures turned ornaments that he used and boxed and signed for sale? Emily Laird's best idea! Who's was it to convince the man to sale those cool items though? Too bad he did not do a follow up turtle-tree!:P

I feel that the vacuum gold-toned metallic with the balls really compliment Pete's tree well. I'd definitely hold on to them if you have one.

Its a one of a kind collectible crafted from another limited collectible! I got it as a follower of Peter's blog that I have been active on since the day of the sale, but only visited here monthly at that point. I know Winters and TokKa snatched one like myself. Anyone else?

I got one, despite being in the UK. I got a friend in the US to buy it for me and he then posted in on (helped that his wife works for the US postal service too!)
Because of the way the postage was calculated for overseas orders for the regular figure, it really didn't work out to be too much extra for the Christmas tree version so it was the best one for me to go for really.

I currently have it sat in a cabinet alongside some cute Japanese Panda-Z toys.
