Just watched the Season 10 DVD and I'm not sure if I just missed the bit or if it was cut. Shredder sends Bebop and Rocksteady to get animals to make new mutants and they mention some cuddly critters and Shredder says, "How about a lion and a gorilla!?" Did I just miss it?

Hmm... maybe we ought to compare it to our Fan Commentary or the VHS tape?
I don't think I've actually watch the DVD episode all the way through yet.

I watched this episode on the complete-set DVD like two days ago. I'd never seen the full episode before and I remember hearing that line. It's there.

Yep, the line is there. I remember it because of the the way Shredder said it.
Funny how "a lion and a gorilla" could have been King Lionheart and Sergent Bananas. I don't mind though, Groundchuck and Dirtbag were better. :D
Lionheart
Yeah, a Care Bears crossover sure would have been interesting. ;)

As the spouse of a Care Bear Fan-girl it's Braveheart Lion, good sir.
EDIT: Also, rewatched that part....totally there. Just missed it, for some reason.

On the VHS, the only line that got cut was Michaelangelo saying "I'd say that's a gargantuoso, humungasoid problem!!!"

Family Home Entertainment cut a few snippets of material around the commercial breaks in some of their VHS releases. That said, since it would be jarring to see "to be continued" in the middle of a VHS run, the portion around the end of Part 1 was cut. Let's not forget the cut on "Attack of the Big MACC" after MACC turns evil after the Turtles from the Turtle Van arrive.

There were a few bits of added scenes/dialogue on the DVD release compared to the split-up episodes. Much cooler to see and somewhat (but not much) makes up for the lack of deleted scenes.
