Ex-Cel & TMNT @ Dizzyland; Living the Dream

In the midnight hour along I-5 North, we find 5 motorcycles traveling along the freeway.

Raph; Shell Cycle
Don: Chopper
Leo: Police bike (wearing a cop outfit)
Mikey & Ex-Cel Dude; Ninjas

They take exit 111 which leads to the coolest place in the planet, Dizzyland. When they approached the empty parking lot, a couple of security guards spotted them, as they got off their bikes.

GUARD 1: What's with the reptiles & superhero? Are they spies from The Nickel Channel?
GUARD 2: Chill, they're filming their opening sequence for their Dizzylodeon special. They have authorization.

On the main street of the amusement park, the five friends talk whie walking along.

MIKEY: This is awesome, Dizzyland!
RAPH: Scary rides.
DON: Latest technolgy.
LEO: The waterpark beach.
EX-CEL: The best stage ever! Just think, all five of us doing a concert here @ Dizzyland. I'll be jammin with Turtles.
DON: You already have Mike & me in your band.
RAPH: So what do we do?
MIKEY: How about we each live a fantasy as well as a cool musical dream. I'd love to be a skateboard champ as well as a drum jam with jazz great Jacob Armen.
RAPH: My dream, to outdo a muscleman, show him my guns! (shows off his muscles), And I always wanted to play smooth music on the sax for a movie scene.
DON: I like to show off my science skills.
RAPH: Bor-ring.
DON: Also, I always wanted to play in a marching band.
LEO: Me, my dream is to show off my ninja skills. Besides Ex-Cel & me, you three would play the vibes.
MIKEY: What about you Ex-Cel?
EX-CEL: I always wanted to do a photo spread. Being a model. And I always wanted to play guitar in a big band.
MIKEY: What are we waiting for? Let's do it!
LEO: Not until a good night's sleep.

They run off.

Ex-Cel dreams he's in the big city. Patroling on his ninja motorcycle, he finds a mugger taking a lady's big case. The thief runs off, Ex-Cel charges towards him & corners him. He got off his bike & battled that thief. When he knocked him, Ex-Cel grabs the case, looks at it & reads...

EX-CEL: Property of Kathy Scotland. She couldn't be.

Ex-Cel drove off & found that lady whose case he returns.

KATHY: Man you're so heroic. You should do a cover spread for Superhero Magazine.
EX-CEL: I'm not really a full-fledged superhero.
KATHY: Don't put yourself down. I know you're a musician as well. Come by my studio & we'll shoot some pics. I'll get a crew to get your instruments.
EX-CEL: Cool!

He drove off.

The next day, he went over to Kathy Scotland's Model Agency. When he arrived on his motorcycle, her photographers took pics of him & the ninja bike.

Inside the studio, Kathy made him pose, showing his buff body, pumpin iron with dumbbells. She also took pics of him holding his two electric guitars, playing each of his guitar, pics of him in front of the vbes & playing them and pics of him behind the tymani & playing them. It took many hours to do a lot of pics.

A month later, Mikey is delighted that he saw his friend in the recent issue of Superhero Magazine.

Leo dreams that he's at Adventure Zone, where he & a couple of ninjas in training are putting on a tae-kwon-do show for the crowd. Leo got to skow off his skills as a ninja warrior. In the middle of his show, a great legend enters the stage. Leo couldn't believe it was...

LEO: Jason David Frank!
JDF: Who were you expecting, the White Ranger?
LEO: Were competitors from different universes on opposite networks, except we both never did NBC.
JASON: Good point, but were both good guys. Let's put on a show.

Leo & Jason put on an awesome exhibtion for the crowd, showing off their skills. When it was over, they went backstage & gave each ther autographs.

LEO: At least Guitar Raph doesn't make you play music.
JDF: He has me playing tympani as White Ranger.

Over @ Dizzyland Waterpark beach, we find Raph coming out in the changing room sportin some shades & some red Speedos. Raph decides before hitting the water, to workout. He spots some muscular dudes pumpin iron in the outdoor gym.

Raph goes over & finds a bench press not being used. So he decides to get some bench pressing done.

While he worked out, he heard techno msic comin from a boombox, being carried by a bodyguard. Along comes a young black dude in yellow Speedos, arriving. He grabs the weights from Raph.

RAPH: Can't you wait your turn, muscle brawn?
AJ: No. (snaps his finger & the boombox is turned off). The name's AJ & this is my territory! I work out here every day.
RAPH: (gets up) Yo, this is a public beach/waterpark. If I wanna work out on this bench press, I will. Learn how to take turns.

AJ's about to punch Raph until he grabbed his fist with his hand.

AJ: I challenge you Turtle to feats of strength! Start with some chin-ups.

They head over to a bar & Raph goes up to the bar.

AJ: Wait!

AJ snaps his fingers & his bodyguard wheels out a white tympan, with mallets.

RAPH: Are you friends with Mikey?
AJ: Yeah, got a problem with that? Do it Raph!

AJ played a drumroll while Raph did 12 chin-ups. When AJ did chin-ups, his bodyguard drummed. AJ also did 12 as well.

The two of them challenged each other in throwing a medicine ball, pumpin iron, showing off their bodies & swimming on the manmade beach. Then they went to the sand where the volleyball court was & started wresting!

RAPH: Alright WWE Wrestling! Now I can body slam AJ!
ME: Real wrestling Raph.
RAPH: D'oh!

AJ & Raph battled each other in real wrestling. They fought for 10 minutes, but Raph managed to pin AJ down. Then he knocked him out.

RAPH: Now I'm king of this beach! Got a problem with that?

AJ's bodyguard fleed from the reptile.

At a typical LA suburb home, we find three boys & Mikey in the garage, playing as a band. Mikey's sportin a green cap, blue ringer t-shirt & some shorts.

Mikey's playing the drums with Scott on guitar, Brad on bass & Kevin on lead guitar. They jam doing surf music. Afterwards,

KEVIN: You're awesome dude! A reptile who can play the drums!
SCOTT: Bro, don't call him that. Mom will hear.
MOM: (from kitchen) Boys, don't tell me you have that reptile drumming.
BOTH: No Mom.
MOM: Otherwise we'll have to turn him over to the zoo.
MIKEY: Zoo? Oui, Mama.
BRAD: You wanna go to the park? They got a skateboard contest going.
MIKEY: Cool!

The boys get off the instruments, put on safety gear,grab their boards & glide over to the park.

At the park, they see radical skateboarders gleamng the cube & doing some tricks. One of the boarders spotted those four.

BOARDER: Any one of you wanna join in?
MIKEY: I'm ready dude!
BOARDER: I was talkin to your human friends, not you reptile!
MIKEY: I'll show you!

Mikey showed off his skateboarding skills to the crowd & were impressed with his skills.

BOARDER: Man, your friend really knows how to ride.
KEVIN: He also plays the drums.

(When this segment was done filming, Mikey invited the actors who played Scott & Kevin to meet Ex-Cel Dude, since they are guitarists.)

DON: What happened to my science dream?
ME: Too boring, couldn't come up wth anything.

In the employee area of Dizzyland, the Dizzyland Marching Band's about to get ready to perform, but is short one sousaphone player. The leader goes over to another sousaphone player, a black kid named Jamal.

LEADER: Where's that other tuba player you mentioned?
JAMAL: Chill, he's coming. Here he comes now.

They spot Don sporting a parade uniform carrying his sousaphone.

DON: Donatello ready to puff.
LEADER: Are you any good, reptile?

Don plays a sousaphone solo for him.

LEADER: I'm desperate. Join Jamal & remember, he gets to show off his funky skills.
DON: I can do that too.
JAMAL: Like to see you try.

The band leaves the employee area & heads over to N. Main Street strip. The Dizzyland Marching Band performs along N. Main, doing silly tunes. Don got to play & march with the band.

When they reached the center (where it becomes S. Main), the band left, but Don & Jamal put on a funky performance. Each of them got to play a sousaphone solo for the crowd.

After their performance, Jamal went over to him...

JAMAL: Good puffin, Don. You know how to rock the sousaphone!

In a recording studio, we see a 30 year old man, named Jacob Armen playing a big set of drums. Ex-Cel Dude & Turtle Titan walk in & see the guy play. He spots them & stops.

JACOB: What are you doing here? Comic Con's a mile away.
TT: We got practice ourselves. Why are you playing my drums?
JACOB: Wrong. You set up your drums over there. And what's with the tympani?
EX-CEL: Looks like somebody goofed on studio time. Wait, aren't you Jacob Armen?
TT: Who?
EX-CEL: The jazz drum prodigy, whose been drumming since he was a toddler.
JACOB: Yeah. You must be the turtle drummer for this superhero.
TT: The one & only.

They shake hands.

TT: So you wanna have a drum battle? Each one of us soloes & we have to play tympani during this jam.
JACOB: Cool! How about Ex-Cel plays a guitar fill to start?

Ex-Cel agrees. Each of them go to their drums with Ex-Cel strapping his guitar. The boys put down a drumbeat while Ex-Cel played a guitar filler for a minute. Then he unstraps the guitar & watches them drum.

Jacob shows off his drumming skills while Turtle Titan watched, in the middle of his dum solo, Titan got on the tympani to play fillers & drumrolls. Then Jacob played only his bass drum & told Titan to solo. Turtle Titan showed his drumming skills to Jacob & he played tympani during his solo. When they finished, Ex-Cel took a coe of pics of the two drummers.

In the ballroom of a wealthy mansion, we find a high class big band setting up for a party. The band consists of three saxes & trumpets & a rhythm section that has upright bass, vibes, keyboard, drums & Josh Salazar on guitar. The band is dressed in whte tuxedoes for this gig, but the bandleader goes over to Josh.

LEADER: For screwing around with the last gig's guest, you're restricted to playing rhythm guitar. In other words, no guitar soloes.
JOSH: This bites.
LEADER: You got to have discipline!

The band is playing a graduation party for the family's oldest kid, their daughter. The party commenced with the band playing sophisticated music that they danced to. During that gig, her pre-teen brother watched the band play, looking @ Josh chunking guitar chords.

When they took an intermission, the pre-teen goes over to Josh.

PRE-TEEN: Man, you're getting robbed. Nice guitar playing.
JOSH: Thanks. What's your name?
PETER: Peter. Wanna check out my bedroom? Bring your guitar.

Josh looks around & finds that the leader's gone away.

JOSH: Sure.

Josh gets his guitar & goes upstairs to Peter's bedroom. When he went to his bedroom, he's amazed that he has posters of Ex-Cel Dude & Turtle Titan on the wall! Peter shows Josh his amp & plugs his guitar up. Just as he's about to play for Peter...

JOSH: Got a cooler idea!

Josh went to his inside coat pocket of his tuxedo & had a smoke bomb! He threw it &

(POOF!)

He changed into his Ex-Cel Dude outfit & played a cool guitar solo for him.

PETER: Awesome!

Ex-Cel Dude played another guitar solo for him & during the middle of it, somebody raided his bedroom. Was it his parents? No, it was the bandleader!

LEADER: I told you not to entertain guests in private jam sessions (realizes). Sorry, what brought you here Ex-Cel Dude?
EX-CEL: Just rewarding a kid for getting good grades.
LEADER: If you see Josh, tell him were on in 5 minutes.

The bandleader closes the door. Ex-Cel finishes his set & then throws another smoke bomb

(POOF!)

And he's back in the tux.

PETER: Thanks for the cool jam! (Hands him $20)
JOSH: Thanks for being a fan.

Leo dreams that him & his brothers with Ex-Cel Dude are on stage. Stagehands wheel out two vibes set, placed in between the other vibes for three vibes.

EX-CEL: Leo & I are super vibists. For the first time, Raph, Mikey & Don will each take a turn on the vibes.

Mikey programs a drum machine to play a techno beat. Ex-Cel plays rhythm while Leo leads, playing the Nick TMNT theme. When it came to the verse, Don got to play the first solo, then Raph played the second solo & Mikey wrapped it up playing the final solo. The end of the chorus had Ex-Cel playing chords, Leo playing the melody & Mikey hot dogging it!

The fans cheered to see all the TMNT on the vibes. One of the stagehands wheeled one of the vibes away. Ex-Cel & Leo then had a vibraphone jam session where they each took turns soloing.

Raph finds himself in the dark streets of New York, wearing a trenchcoat with a sax attached.

He spots a light underneath the lamp post. He goes over & starts puffin a sexy tune on his saxophone. While he played, a couple looked at him and they started to make out to his music. He felt awkward, so he played something peppy. The couple left after hearing that.

Just then, a detective comes over to our saxophone playing turtle.

DETECTIVE: What's the big idea wandering off, playng alone?
RAPH: Wanted to play on my own.
DETECTIVE: You know your my background music. Get in line with the others.

Raph went over to the band and stood up front. Behind him were Mikey on snare drum, Ex-Cel on unplugged electric guitar, Leo on bells & Don on sousaphone. They marched & played music with the detective walking ahead of them.

Backstage @ the Concert Zone, Ex-Cel & the TMNT are ready to rock on stage. Ex-Cel goes over to Mkey.

EX-CEL: Take good care playing the 175.
MIKEY: Nah, playing your 335.
RAPH: What you two nerds talking about?
BOTH: Guitars.

Except for Don, each member pus on a headjack mike. Then Ex-Cel charges out on stage, goes to the tympanis & plays a drumroll announcing him & TMNT! Then he pays a rock beat as the rest of the band enters. Don straps his bass, Leo's on the vibes, Raph plays drums & Mikey plays Ex-Cel's 335. They perform Comin Out of Oir Shells with Mikey lead singing.

The 2nd number has Leo off the vibes with Ex-Cel going to the vibes & singing lead to Pizza Power. Ex-Cel's glad he played vibes solo & didn't sing withou his guitar,or he'd have a migrain.

The 3rd number had Leo back on the vibes, while Ex-Cel grabbed his 175 & Mikey playing his 335, performing Sewer Surfin'. Mikey thought it's a cool moment that he & Ex-Cel played guitars for the first time.

While the band took a breather, Don's alone on stage, playing his sousaphone, puffin out a cool tune he wrote.

When they came back, Mikey got on his drums while Raph grabbed a sax, Leo on the vibes & Ex-Cel playing his 175 with a wah-wah pedal. They did the new techno theme to NT;TNM, with soloes from Raph, Leo, Ex-Cel (turning off the pedal furing his solo) & Mkey. When they finished that tune, Mikey played atympani drumroll as an ending. The fans liked it.

In the wee hours along N. Main, the band's walking along, headed back to the parkng lot.

MIKEY: Man, that was totally tubular we got to live out the dream.
DON: And go on some rides, though it was edited out.
EX-CEL: Glad you guys had an awesome time. Let's head home.

At the parking lot, there were only 4 motorcycles. Leo saw that his police motorcycle was confiscated by the real police. Then, he couldn't believe his eyes who plled up, the White Ranger on his Shark Cycle.

WHITE RANGER: Need a lift?

Leo hopped on & they left.

Just then, AJ comes over to Mikey.

AJ: Think you could give me a lift? My car broke down.
RAPH: Why don't you lift it, muscle boy!

Mikey gives AJ a ride. Then the oters leave on their bikes heading down I-5 South.
