I never really got into the comics but recently I have had the opportunity to read the originals and I must say that I am impressed. I grew up watching the cartoon show and I collect the original figures, as well as the figures from the new series.

Welcome to the drome! I've also been watching since the very first episodes. I'm not 100% sure if I discovered it in 1987 or 88 though but it was very near the beginning.
