Three Silly Questiona

[IcyKali]

I was wondering some things about the old cartoon.

1) Where did the different skin colors for the turtles come from? Are they based on video games? From colored versions of the comics?

2) Does Krang sleep? If so, does he need sleep? I don't think I ever remember him sleeping.

3) In a few of the video games, Shredder uses chi attacks, or shoots lightning. He doesn't ever do this in the cartoon, right?

Thanks, and sorry if I'm the 1,000th person who asked these things!

1. The different skin colors go all the way back to wave 1 of the Playmates toys from 1988.

2. I dunno.

3. Right.

Shredder never becomes Super Shredder in the cartoon, if that's what you're asking.

The funny thing is Konami created the idea of Super Shredder shooting fire, lightning and ice....since he obviously never does that in TMNT II.

Yeah, and I hate it. I would prefer to go in a duel (TMNT II video game was at least more OK, he uses the shrink ray on his helmet, see the "Eye of Sarnath" and a hologram equipment, see "Shredder and Splinter").

I would prefer to see in at least one of the games how Shredder captures all four turtles, and you have to play with Splinter in the final battle.

And every living creature needs to sleep, we just don't see everyone in the show doing it.

Now there's only one open question remaining: Does Krang sleep ?
What makes you think Krang is asleep?

[Icebot]

Krang took a shower once, and he exercises. I think he sleeps.
