Kinda hoping they were gonna avoid this like for the 10000th time or so. Raph and Leo do pick on each other, but they still seem to get along great. Regardless of his temper, when Leo told Raph to go home, he actually did, instead of starting a fight. REALLY didn't wanna see the Leo/Raph drama play out again.

But I'm trusting this series so far, and it hasn't let me down yet. We've had April as a teenager, a mutant dog and fish as Shredder's henchmen instead of you-know-who, Don crush on April, and it all worked. I mean if I told you 2 years back there would be a new show in which a mad scientist would become the Rat King, I'd be laughed out of the room or threatened, lol, and yesterday's episode was AWESOME!! So I'll give it a shot and see what happens.

Hey, I saw the commercial and saw her for half a sec when she was pinning Leo in the background with one of the Turtles asking 'what are you doing?" Kinda looked blonde to me. Miwa is obviously Karai. I don't see them introducing another Japanese girl who Shredder, "deeply cares for" as his BIO puts.

The mere fact that Karai was de-aged into a teenager, making it seem like its Splinter's baby daughter grown up from 15 years ago makes it fit perfectly.

I have a feeling Karai is Miwa, and if she is, I don't want there to be a relationship with Leo. That's just not right. But I can't wait to see what she does next week.

And as for the Leo/Raph conflict, I don't think it'll be as overplayed as it was in 4Kids. It'll probably be just this one episode and then they'll make up and realize that fighting is just stupid.

If Leo is brainwashed by Karai, then maybe it's just Raph fighting to get him back to normal, but the promo just shows that main face-off scene to grab the kids attention. They probably had an argument in the beginning of the episode and it all comes to a head at that one scene.

It's really not that weird, it's like I was saying earlier, it looks similar to the IDW hairstyle just somewhat less full in the front. And with a triangle formation instead of the bangs.

Karai's Vendetta is ep 21.

That's what the TMNT wiki has listed anyway.

And not every ep has one, only The Gauntlet to the ep with Leatherhead have those so far. And it's mostly only titles other countries use.

I pretty much called that Karai is actually Miwa ever since the pilot aired.

I havn't heard any enternet rumour or read any-thing like that, nothing. Here's why I called it, and why I just keep growing more sure with every episode.

This show is very competently written, they use "Build up." very skillfully, fully utilize pay-off and set up, nothing seems to be left to chance.

A great example of their great use off build-up was when the introduced the Shredder in "The Gauntlet." to produce the biggest sense of fright possible, the episode deliberately build a sense of falls security around the characters and thus the audience. And because we had that security around us, to have some-one come and ripp it appart with ease in two minutes felt frightening! much more frightening than if the shredder had just been introduced.

Nothing in this show is talked about without reason, nothing is. "Oh, we are just going to put this plot point here, and then see if we feel like using i later." naha. Just look at doctor Falcon, his mind powers were not a coincidence at all! Not only that, he left clues behind about the ooze for the turtles to figure out. Snake-weed and Spider-bite, they are going to show up again in a big mutant rumble, just you wait, they did not escape without reason... season finaly is going to be epic.
And that's a genneral rule for screen-writing. Never to introduce a plot point, unless there is a meaning behind it.

Splinter having a daughter, is a huge plot point, and if it didn't come up later, there would be no need for it!
yes, it makes sense that he is an overprotective father because he all-ready lost one child but.. just having lost his wife actually ought to be enough in this regard. Adding a child, at that point, only ads to the gruesome, in a kids show. Unless.. they are going to use her for some-thing.

And my mind just immediately skipped forward to Karai, well duh.. Oroku Saki took her and raised her for her own. A couple of weeks later. "A new girl town." was announced, and all I could think was. "Hah, called it."


Personally.. I like this idea. Is it conventional? Sure, it's not an original idea by any stretch of the imagination.
But having learnd to know this show, the possibilities is piling up around this character.
It could lead to a lot of conflict among Splinter and his turtles.. interesting conflict. A friend pointed out to me it might could make Leo a little jalouse, him being a teachers pet and all.
But mostly, it has the possibility of making her an interesting character! and if there is some-thing I like, it's interesting female characters. The internal conflic this Karai has to go through in this show, if she's Miwa, appeals to me. So yeah, crossing fingers for them to keep the great writing up.

Because certain things are very difficult to translate.. I'monster ... incredible difficult to translate to Danish it.. just doesn't translate.

"Enter the rat king." how-ever, oh yeah, easily. "Introducere, rotte kongen." so it's nice to have two different titles to pick from.

This season finale though, it's going to be epic.

CG cartoons re-use character models to save costs, you can bet every mutant they introduced so far will return at some point.

Surprisingly they didnt reuse.. the cat.. there has been more than one cat in the toon already.. If I recall correctly there has been more than just these two in the picture.

That's cause there's millions of cats in New york. I was once in a house for cats that had a hundred in there. So I should know.

But how many Spider mutants, or Vine mutants, or even Pigeon mutants could there possibly be.

I just saw the S5 trailer for The Clone Wars and it's amazing how much that show has evolved in 5 years especially compared to the first season. It really is as big of a difference as the first season of Reebot to their last one. Sadly I actually think the S1 CG in Clone Wars is actually better than current season of TMNT but that's another topic.

But to be fair, LucasFilm had already had plenty of experience with CGI action scenes by the time The Clone Wars series rolled around. 8)

extend limbs isn't hard work in 3DS MAX, or just remove the limbs, keep the paws and make new cylinders and tweak them a bit. Same with the body, stretch it a bit. The heads looks fairly alike.

I did a similar thing for my final assignment in 3D Film Design, when I was on a time budget and had to make several different children characters. But, all the extra kids was scrapped from final film :P

Escape is a character that (aside from completing the ultimate goal of her "Papa" ) she wanted to seek out an adversary that would bring her enjoyment, in which case she picked a fight with a fellow villain Enter as well as Red-Buster, but neither were up to her level
