I don't know if this is what you're thinking of, but I did find this in my comic store a while back:

That actually came with TMNT II: The Arcade Game for NES. There was reportedly someone who turned this in at a Pizza Hut ages after it expired and they still honored it.

I saw that video, it's taken down but it was hilarious.

I hadn't heard it was removed.

I wonder if Pizza Hut sent out a corporate memo after the story started to go semi-viral on what to do with those old TMNT coupons. :tlol:

There are coupons in magazines even older that don't have an expiration date and many of the products featured are still made. I myself have that promotional program, and it really feels special to not see an Internet/social media reference on it to show that it was part of a bygone era that I remember (1990 today is as old now as to what the Summer of Love/George of the Jungle/Original Batman TV series/Star Trek: TOS was then!)

Sometimes I wish I could go back to those days. I'd have a blast knowing what I know now!

So... you'd go back in time armed with... internet experience... in a world where such technology wasn't yet readily available to the general public?

Actually I was thinking more along the lines of flirting with all the girls I liked in school before they started dating, but yea that's another good idea.

I know it's been discussed but anyone who owns/owned TMNT on vhs knows this commercial very well :P I always think about it anytime someone mentions Pizza Hut regarding TMNT!

Any DVD/Bluray release of TMNT 1990 doesn't really feel "complete" to me without that commercial. As it was an extension of the experience of watching the movie numerous times for those of us who grew up in the era of VHS. :tsmile:
