Yo guys! new action figures! A look at new TMNT toy releaeses, including a new character we have not seen yet.
With two new characters we havn't seen yes! lets take a look.
First I think we shall look at the new character we have not seen yet.

So we are gonna get a new mutant called Cockroach.. he is a cockroach.
Looks pretty cool, question just gonna be, is this merely a new monster acting like his own entity? Or does he work for some-one? he got sciense gear sticking out of him, what are does?
Well in any case, neat design for a new stand-alone monster.

Well, mostly taking a look at this cause I want it!
That was my first reaction after watching "I'monster." I want a rat-king figure, and this one looks pretty neat!
Sadly it looks like the wrappings over his eyes are none-removeable, so se can't get to his glowing eyes, but the design still looks very neat in action form.
So lets look at some re-releases of main characters.

So! a Shredder with removeable helmet. neat! just one question... where in the world is his scar?
Come on dude, half his face is burned off in the show, and his eye looks all damages, which is pretty cool, makes him look badass. What is the deal here, did he get plastic sugery?
As cool as it is seeing him without helmet, it only happened briefly in the show and we only saw him from behind.. do it right, he looks way less cool without his helmet here.
All-though, that he actually has his cape on, which looks both flowy and torned a bit, as if he has been in battle, that looks pretty neat, I do like that they included that cape.

What is up with this figure? that's not some-thing appearing in the show is it?
So it's Splinter in some sort of a samurai kendo out-fitt.
Is that supposed to be his battle armor the day he faces Shredder? .. I hope not. It just.. to me it doesn't look like Splinter is the type for battle armor, he is more about speed and dodging, in which case a battle armor is mostly in the way.
All though, what irks me the most about this figure, gotta be that helmet!
How on earth does that work? how does that fit him? did he just sqeesh his nose together and stuffed it behind the helmet? doesn't that hurt? ... it's.. weird.
All though, I think it's sort of neat seeing him in trousers instead of that robe, I always got the sense the animators actually don't know what sort of a complexion Splinter has or how to make it, so they are just covering it up with that robe.
I gotta be honest, if I took the robe of him, I have no idea how I would draw his complexion either, but that just makes me more curious about it, I would sort of like to see him in a outfitt that clues us more into this.
Perhaps Shredder without a helmet and Splinter in battle armor is a clue to how they will appear in their show-down? perhaps i'll come sooner than I thought in this season finale.
I guess we will have to wait and see, and how fun with the new toys.
What I sincerely hope will come next up, would be a new releaes of the turtles, this time looking much more like their nick cartoon counterparts. The turtles they did releases doesn't really look like the nick cartoons, more like the standard turtle from all other places.
