Hello to all who thrive here!
Where can I start?
I'm Male, I'm 18 years old, I'm from New Zealand and I've been a huge fan of the turtles since the 2003 4Kids incarnation of the turtles. I remember watching the cartoon a whole lot on Cartoon Network and sometimes even on syndicated TV, though it was on pretty early in the morning so I had to wake up at about 6:00 AM every morning before school to watch TMNT.
I guess TMNT was a dedication for me to wake up so early every morning to watch one of my favourite cartoons, hehe.
Though as I got older, my interest initially decreased and waned until I forgot about it entirely. It wasn't until I watched a few episodes of the new Nick versions of TMNT that I refound my love for the 4 ninja heroes in a half-shell. Although the Nick TMNT series is nice, my one true all-time favourite will always remain to be the 2003 4Kids cartoon.
My first turtle I ever bought was a mutating Leonardo where he transformed from his mutated self, into a baby-turtles and back. Unfortunetly, I have lost the figure which saddens me a little bit.
My first villain was the Utrom Shredder and I love the shell out of him and his cartoon counterpart. I've lost his large staff-blade weapon but I still have his twin-swords of Tengu. I still have him and proudly display him with all my other collectables.
I do wished I had bought more figures from the 2003 line other than a foot ninja, so hopefully I can find the 4 turtles for a decent price so I can display them.
And although I'm not a fan of the original turtles, the upcoming classics Bebop and Rocksteady figures have piqued my interest enough that I might actually buy them.
Hopefully this isn't too ramble-ramble for those reading. I hope to enjoy my time here and meet some cool people as well.
