Man, we've got some slim picking's for ideas this week...

Here, have another sneak peek (http://www.mtv.com/videos/misc/883806/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-season-1-ep-17-tcri-first-look.jhtml#id=1688229), free of charge!

Okay, so we're finally getting closer to the main objective of the Kraang. All the clues are culminating into the final, freakish product of this large-scale, global genetics scheme. All the kidnapping of scientists, April's dad, the collection of DNA from around the world, the World Genome Project... Leatherhead's subjection to torturous experimentation... the power source and the Portal.

We may be on the precipice of a massive global takeover by the Kraang. It's going to be a hell of a battle for the turtles to go up against. How can four or five teenagers defeat a giant global industrial machine with more cutting edge technology knowledge in one tentacle than the entire 100 year span of modern human technology?

The boys are so outnumbered as it is with all the groups their up against in the city, and now they're going to be in for a new surprise...

From the annals of the OT universe (and IDW, I think), we get a blast from our collective past.. an alien race of (lava filled?)rock-like beings. So now we can speculate what their ties to the Kraang are, and what their plans are for our little green and blue planet....

WILL THE TURTLES STOP THE KRAANG FROM TAKING OVER THE WORLD?!
WILL KARAI AND THE FOOT GET INVOLVED IN THE MELEE?!
AND WHO ELSE IS LOOKING FOR A GOOD LEATHERHEAD RAGEFEST?!

Stay Tuned!

Great episode. This isn't exactly an Easter Egg, so I'll post this here.

Mikey says to Leatherhead "Wakey Wakey, eggs and bakey".

In Teen Titans, Beast Boy (same voice actor as Mikey) says "Wakey Wakey, tofu eggs and bakey".

Pretty neat.

This episode was pretty cool. 8) We saw LH again and got to see Traag.

I have to say that part when Leather Head was still holding Donatello's face and stretching it was kinda funny.

Oh and April's yo-yo skills were fun to watch. :tsmile:

LEATHERHEAD CAME BACK!!!! :D

It was so great to see how understanding he was of the power cell going missing.. And how he stopped the anger from affecting him!
............

But now, He's gone... I feel like a friend just moved far far away.. Or I just lost my pet alligator..

I hope this isn't the end for him. I Really REALLY hope not.... ):

Good episode overall. Traang was great, and so was seeing Leatherhead again. Too bad he's now stuck in Dimension X. I wonder why The Kraang would be after April. Must have something to do with her sixth sense.

LOVED this episode. Traag looked amazing. My new favorite I guess? Leatherhead being gone is so sad, but I KNOW this won't be the last we see of him. Not how much CGI characters cost. Surely they wouldnt just throw him out, right? But again, Loved the more we are seeing about the kraang. I hope we get to see inside of Dimension X. Finally one of the turtles went fully inside the shell. Overall, Good episode. April Sure is gonna need some protecting.

Yeah, that shell thing was creepy.

Agreed. It also doesn't seem very accurate.

When they mutated, they kind of outgrew their shells; those seem to be more of a leftover from their previous form than anything else. All things considered, they now have more humanoid forms [*insert 'teenage turtle human hybrids' theme song here*], there is just no way everything will fit in there. I'm even against them tucking their heads in: they might be able to get their chins in there but nothing more.

I prefer the way they treat this issue in the IDW comics... Michaelangelo one-shot excluded. The example that comes to mind right now would be in Leo's one-shot: when shredhead throws his katanas back at him, he kind of tucks his head in a little bit cause he thinks they are gonna hit him square in the face.

anybody else feel like this should have been a 2-part episode. dont get me wrong the episode was great and action packed but I feel like it was rushed

This is exactly how I felt. It was rushed, but I suppose the pulverizer is the "first part of the episode" if you will.

So, here are my thoughts.

I like how the episode picks up right where the last one left off, wasting no time. It was great to see the patrol buggies again, let's hope they become a primary vehicle for the guys in green. I enjoyed seeing Leatherhead again, and I really like him and Mikey's friendship. It was a bit strange just to see him laying around in the sewer though :tlol: It was pretty neat that Leatherhead is somewhat starting to control his anger, hopefully by the time we see him again he'll have it fully under control so he can be a full ally to the turtles. Also, there was another Metalhead cameo! TCRI itself was awesome. I liked seeing April in action again, her training his starting to pay off! General Tragg was O.K I guess, he just seems like a mindless monster and I don;t even recall if he could talk or not. I also think he was defeated too easily. Now, the thing that really annoyed me is how they handle Leatherhead. LH stops the portal from sending more things to earth by going in it and dragging General Traag in with him. I think this was very heroic and brave of him, but I just hope we can see him again soon, which I (sadly) doubt. Mikey seemed very sad back at the lair. Now comes the interesting part. Donatello finds out at the end of the episode that The Kraang are really after April O' Neil. What? Why? I MUST know! Now for my "nit pick" section.

*all of these points below are minor nit picks and should not be taken too seriously*

April going into TCRI. How the heck did they get LH in that box, and how did April know about that since her and LH never met?

Ms. Campbell. I thought she was destroyed, and why wouldn't she recognize April?

That brings me to my next point, if the Kraang really are after April, then why didn't they recognize her when she went into TCRI?

*nit picking over*

All in all, it was a great episode that raised many questions, but felt a little rushed. I want to know so many things, such as why they're after April, when Leatherhead's coming back, and the true intentions of the Kraang, though we won't be seeing this since next week's episode is about Chong the cockroach, which sounds like a filler episode. Now it would seem that the turtles and April would stop at nothing to find out what the Kraang want with April, so it'll be weird if April is just sitting around in their lair in the next episode. I'll be watching the episode again for sure.

Not everything happens on camera, they probably briefed her about LH at some point.

Ms. Campbell. I thought she was destroyed, and why wouldn't she recognize April?

Well she is a robot, so it's probably a duplicate of the other one. That also explains why she didn't remember April, though considering that she appears to be their main target, one would think they would be more in the lookout to see if she showed up.

Their infiltration of TCRI is a wonderfully tense sequence, from the unleashing of Leatherhead to the turtles climbing up the elevator shaft. And those Kraang in the mini hovercrafts look like they came straight out of a videogame.

I will address a minor problem I have with the CGI. Quite a few times the character models feel like they should have more weight to their actions, particularly the big ones like Leatherhead, and now, General Traag. I know the turtles are ninjas, so there's that. It just bothers me somewhat.

Anyway, can't wait till the next episode. I didn't think the turtles'd be able to destroy the portal either, and I'm glad the writers didn't let them. I get that this season is setting everything up, but this boys just can't catch a break!

I only caught the last ten minutes (about the time when the turtles are captured and making jokes) and I have to say that I love it. The story line is picking up, the action is very nice (my favorite moment was when the turtles simultaneously kicked the monster) and the humor was nice. A very good ep. For what I saw. Hopefully I'll be able to see the whole thing tomorrow.

Interesting episode.

- TCRI is confirmed to have human workers, so Baxter working for them made sense.

- Dimension X is name-dropped for the first time.

- The Kraang want to terraform the planet.

- General Traag appears, although sadly he can't talk

- April is what the Kraang are after

Great episode all around. Leatherhead disappearing into the portal reminded me of the Image series when something similar happens.

Only gripe is Traag didn't talk.

This. I joked with my little brother that Raph had a hearing problem because twice in the episode Mikey said something(the Shriner parade joke and rubbing Leatherhead belly) and he said maybe his ears are full of water.

Also, was it just me or did Mikey's hum sound nothing like the Olympics song? Maybe it's a rights issue?

It did sound somewhat familiar to me. Well, Michelangelo figuring out that anything could come from the portal sure shows how much he's capable of when things work out. He tried to wake up Leatherhead fairly gently I thought despite the attack. With Leatherhead in limbo, who knows what will happen to him since he's never been in Dimension X in any incarnation, not even the OT. I find this episode to be a victory for the Kraang since not only they seized Leatherhead into Dimension X, they also provided Traag his first test against the Turtles, and it took Leatherhead to save them, and in Dimension X, it may be more difficult for the croc to compete. I predict the next episode will be filler about some exterminator who enjoys bugs, unless if Baxter is mutated into a coachroach which I doubt. When April finds out she is the primary Kraang target (wasn't surprising since she was kidnapped in the first episode), it gives her character a needed breath of importance. The package text even conforms to the times about there's more than just English. Notice that the TCRI portal strongly resembles the one used in Season 10 for the final Shredder/Krang episodes?

Overall: 8.5/10

It was a good episode. And who knows... they seem to be cramming in a lot of stuff per episode. Snakeweed and Karai. Karai, Kraang and Miss Campbell. Pulverizer, Shell Raiser and Fish Face. I wouldn't be surprised if the next episode somehow crams in the mutant roach and continues the Kraang plot as well.

I really enjoyed this episode more than any other episode thus far. Some might say that too much was "crammed" into the episode, but I just look at it as cutting out the fat. Also, I'm finding "The Krang" to be the standout character(s) thus far, they kinda remind me of the droids in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars cartoon.

In fact, the only other time I can remember when it's happened in TMNT history is when Archie Raphael and Donatello do it to survive an explosion.

seriously!? wow :O

it was kinda cool >:D after I freaked out.

and it's also cool that Mikey can hold his breathe the longest :)

Even if their planet was dying I don't see why they would want to kill everything on Earth, other than being evil for evil's sake.

Trying to squat on another planet doesn't sound like for evil's sake.

Guess kraang prime can't.

You guys forgot to mention the part where Leonardo does the awesome Kraang impersonation. I also liked how he tried to act all serious when he realized nobody else thought it was funny. "Sorry, where were we?"

This was priceless and one of my favorite jokes of the series so far! My daughter and I both got quite a kick out of it. Love Leo's overall personality in this series.

Probably easier to breathe their stuff. Plus they always freak out whenever they're outside of the robo-suits so maybe that's them gasping for "air"?

Tihi, Splinter likes a good maze.. I have no idea why I found that so funny.

That being said. LEATHERHEAD! Noooo!

We'll see him again, I am quite sure of it.. and huh, apparently he got through that last Krang incident just fine, and merely threw them out to go back to chill in his layer.
Did we miss a scene where Mikey went back to check on him? Maybe hang out with him?

Huh.. the Krang is after April huh? Well I suppose that's one way to incorporate her more into the plot and legitimise it a bit better why she is there..
She's not an artefecially created life-form is she? or part alien? Or actually a mutan whom just looks fully human? or a very good Krang-droid?

... I hope for none of the above mentioned, those were meant to be out-landish ridicoules examples. It just annoys me a bit it actually could be plausible.

I feel a bit like Mikey now saying. "Pff that's stupid what are they going to do? transform the entire planet so they can life here but we can't?" ... yeah..

any-ways, awesome fight scenes, awesome action, less humour than usually, but that's oki, the humour that was there was as spot on as always.. seriously can't wait to see what happens next!

Action: Amazing, once they busted into TCRI it was nothing but kick-ass.

Humor: Amazing. This is honestly one of my favorite episodes, dialogue-wise. Everyone was spot on.

Plot: ... damn it. NOTHING HAPPENED!

We did lose Leatherhead, and we did get the April reveal (told you she wasn't human), but the guys just ran up in there and accomplished nothing except pissing the Kraang off. It's become pretty obvious that nothing significant is going to happen with the Kraang plot until the season finale, so as much as I like the Kraang, lately I've just been left wanting more Foot Clan stuff.

Wow. What an episode. I loved the TCRI battle, though I'm sad Leatherhead is gone. So, the Kraang are after April. I had a feeling that was their motive all along. I thought maybe we'd see Kirby in this ep, but we didn't. Traag was interesting, and I'm sure he and Leatherhead have met before. Remember, LH was taken to the Kraang's dimension and mutated there, so he has been to Dimension X before. Overall, a great episode. Too bad we have to wait for the next one.

Favorite quotes:

Mikey: Wakey, wakey, eggs and bakey.

Mikey: Oh, he's a pussycat who likes to grab your face and shake you like a rag doll.

Leo: The ones who work in this place must punch the timecard that is meant for the clock of time.

Don: The portal is beautiful. Scientifically speaking.
Raph: If you love it so much, why don't you marry it?
Mikey: Do you, Donatello, take this portal to be your--
Leo: Knock it off, you two!

Mikey: This is more fun than a Shriner's parade!

Don: Are you humming the Olympics theme?
Mikey: It seemed appropriate.

Kraang: In Kraang's face!

Splinter: I love a good maze.

And that's it. Too bad we have to wait two weeks for the next ep.

You guys don't know how much of a challenge it was, avoiding this thread until I got to see the episode this morning. Nick Canada doesn't believe in broadcasting new TMNT episodes when you guys get them.

All in all, really enjoyable episode, I liked it a lot. I'm glad Leatherhead made an appearance, and I think it's hilarious that the "Grabbing Donnie by the face" thing has pretty much become a routine gag (XD I feel sorry for Donnie, but I can't argue with the giggles. Nope)

"WHY DO YOU KEEP GRABBING MY FACE? WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY FACE?"
"Would you like the list alphabetically, or in descending level of grossness"

Some really awesome moments from everyone:
-Leo taking on Traang by himself to give his bros time to recover. Plus the time card joke XD Poor Leo. WE THINK YOU'RE FUNNY.

- Raph's zingers were really on target. I think he made me laugh the most this time around.

- Mikey... Why are you so ridiculously adorable, Mikey? I love how Mikey just has fun with whatever the hell they're doing. "Alright, going to break into a very heavily guarded Kraang compound? I'm going to climb the elevator shaft and hum the theme song to the olympics!"

- Anyone else notice Donnie getting that hug from April in the end XD?

And the Nunchuck Kraang! Someone needs to make a gif of that!

AAAAAND NERD MOMENT OVER.
Though I'm really curious about April now and I'm wondering what kind of explanation there is for why the Kraang want her and how that ties in with their plans... especially if, like Mikey said, it involves terraforming the earth to support their life. >_> Unless it sort of ties into those gut feelings she gets (someone mentioned something about universal vibrations?).

But this whole 'We need April O'Neil" thing must be fairly new to the Kraang. They've been on Earth for at least 15 years. I have a feeling it has something to do with her DNA... Maybe there's something about it that makes it ideal for altering the mutagen to affect every human being on earth?

Why the heck do the Kraang need to terraform the Earth? They seem to be able to breath the air fine.

From one of the writers:

dantheownageman asked: The latest episode revealed the Kraang want to terraform the Earth so they can live on it. But so fair they have lived on Earth perfectly fine. They don't use any breathing devices, they walk around in their robot bodies completely exposed, and they have spent extended periods outside them like when that Kraang took over Metalhead.

Answer: The hexagonal droid interface panels provide some sort of life support system, which is why the Kraang was able to survive while controlling Metalhead. Without being attached to a droid they can only survive a limited time, which is why they quickly scurry away to safety. Whether they make it in time is for you to decide.

Forgot to mention this. He just bailed immediately... and Don was all "wtf" in the background. Too funny.

Great episode! Poor Donnie just can't seem to avoid being Leatherhead's personal stress ball. And I liked Leo's Kraang impersonation even if none of the characters did.

But it seems to me that the Kraang need to read the evil overlord list. The gas that poured into the elevator seemed to knock the turtles out and instead of taking the chance to finish them off the Kraang just imprison them. Granted the Turtles have plot armor and killing them would end the show ( and make us all very sad ) but realistically it doesn't make sense from a tactical standpoint.

Their own mutagen caused the turtles to mutate, they probably wanted to study them, or enslave them, or torture them. Makes perfect sense. Many possibilities.

Oh, I remembered a little detail I noticed last night:

When the Turtles arrived home and April exclaims they're back, she runs t oDon and hugs him.

I thought it was a sweet little moment.

As the series progresses, perhaps Don will mature beyond his crush, allowing him and April to form a close friendship built on their common interests (science/tech). Of course, Casey will throw a wrench into that, but may also be the catalyst that helps Don "move on".

There's a good theory. Suppose Kirby O' Neil is indeed a human, but he mated with a Neutrino. That would make April half of both races.

Mated?! how unromantic....:trazz:
But I do like your idea way better.

suppose:
Kirby falls in love with a Neutrino woman who is on earth. They marry but tragedy strikes and Kirby is left to raise April.

Whatever they decide to do with April's background in this TMNT universe is fine by me. She is a cool character. This episode shows that she can hold her own against the krang (with a yo-yo :teek:), she provided the schematics of the TCRI building (she didn't laugh at Leo's joke though :tgrumble:), and the concern she shows for the guys (especially Donnie :twink:) makes her just awesome.

Now that it has been established that these turtles actually can retract into their shells if they want to.

Does that mean that's an optional sleeping position for them as well?

General Traag was Awesome and that fight with Leatherhead....EPIC! Looks like LH and Traag have had some sort of history together in Dimension X (Since LH called him by his name).

So... am I the only one that noticed that Traag was random monster of the week? I mean seriously, if Leatherhead didn't call his name out, and we had no 80's cartoon to base his character on, he just seemed like random monster for Turtles to fight, not unlike Justin.

I know the possibility exists that he might return in some other episode and hopefully develop his character, but within the context of just THIS episode... he was basically just mindless monster for the Turtles to fight.

Anyway, this episode was ok. I mean, alot of important stuff happened that needed to for the plot to develop, but other than that it was just "eh". Definitely felt too rushed. And the only part that actually made me laugh was Leo's awkward, "Sorry...where were we?" after his Kraang impression.

I AM curious as to why the Kraang want April, though!

Next episode is Cockroach Terminator. From the sounds of it, the Kraang are none too pleased with the turtles crashing their trans-dimensional party. Somehow mutagen winds up in the sewer and affects Donnie's pet Cockroach, because he apparently has one XD I think it might be a Raph episode, which would be nice, since Raph hasn't had many of those. Though they might address the April thing briefly in the beginning. I don't see it being the main focus.

D'aw, poor April D8 Though it kind of struck me as the school being the first problem and then everything else was kind of made worse after the fact. I mean, her school ID shows her with giant glasses and braces. She obviously reimagined her look sometime since she started.

My theory on April: I think the Kraang saw her DNA and want her to help further their plans. It's obvious now she isn't human and that they took her dad as bait to lure her there. As for what she is, that's still up in the air, but I'd like the idea of her being a Neutrino. That would be neat.

He also seems to like playing with the krang heads/faces he was playing with one in the elevator before Raph grabbed it and he also played with Mrs. Campbells face and scared the bezeezus out of Raph. It was also the second time Raph used a broken kraang to their advantage.

My one major question is how is Leatherhead able to breathe in DimensionX? If his mutation made him breathe kraang air, how does he breath Earth air? Can he breathe both?

About Raph not hearing, to me it seems like the first time was just because Mikey was making even less sense than usual. As for the second time, I think I'd have trouble hearing too if I was hanging off the back of a 15 foot tall alligator thrashing around.

Kinda wish they had more build up though. I mean IF Spike becomes Slash... we've seen the lil guy since day one. Don getting a pet roach and it mutates in the same episode just feels so contrived. Any drama involving Don's pet become a mutant is lost cause he only owned the guy for 5 minutes.

Shark_Blade

Maybe the cockroach is not Don's pet at all. I mean a cockroach as a pet? That type of bug is literally everywhere; in the garbage, in your soup.. It's like owning a pet fly, seems lame and annoying.

He could be just experimenting on it. Or maybe this things were confirmed? I don't follow the nick news.

This is probably one of those points in time where we need to take the speculation with a grain of salt. I could easily see this running somewhere along the lines of "Raph finds cockroach, wants to smash it, Donnie feels sorry for it and decides to keep it"

Or like Shark blade said. It's more for testing. I can see either possibility. I won't completely discount the pet theory because they live alone in the sewers and that must get kind of lonely. Not a lot of possibilities for pet companionship.

I'm hoping it's a Donnie/Raph episode. We've seen a couple of Mikey/Raph moments, a lot of Leo/Raph back and forth, but nothing really major with Donnie and Raph, even though I noticed that there's a bit of tension going on in terms of brains vs brawn ;)

As far as April goes, I'm hoping for as much human origins as possible. I'm hoping that her abilities are a mutation at most. The Kraang must have known of a scientists daughter having an ability and is why they started harvesting earths scientists. They discovered it was Kirby O'neil's daughter after the DNA tests done at the school, so I hope it's not because she was previously affiliated with the Kraang at all and that is the reason behind it. Either way, hoping that the writing is good enough that which ever way they go, it is well written.

A little off topic but from what I have gathered is that ...
Donnie uses a cockroach as a moving spy cam. He outfits the cockroach with spy gadgets and while the cockroach is on a recon mission, it is exposed to mutagen. Raph is suppose to dislike the bug, and maybe the turtle that encounters it in its mutated form. Supposedly, this cockroach has two mutations.

Good question. It's possible that as part of the Kraang's experimentation they made him able to breath the air in Dimension X. After all, he escaped through the portal in Dimension X before, so he had to be breathing in order to pull that off.

Probably because he didn't have any. He just showed up, went "Boo!" and then Leatherhead pulled him into the portal. We didn't learn anything about him whatsoever apart from it being indirectly inferred by Leatherhead's actions that there is some bad blood between the two of them.

Forgot to mention how much I loved Donnie's slow-mo/double-take home run swing. Cracks me up every time for some reason.

I'm a little iffy on why the Kraang didn't dispose of the Turtles when they had the chance and captured them. They were openly firing hundreds of rounds at them all the way up the building so the intention was pretty clearly "shoot to kill"... yet they catch them and after they've repeatedly been screwing up their plans, all they do is lock them up in a bubble they can bust out of and help them breathe?

Well the turtles are a product of the Kraang's mutagen, so they probably planned on sending them to Dimension X and experimenting on them further.

Well of course the Turtles can't die in the show... I'm just saying, rather than the writers creating an unbelievable scenario, why not write it differently so that the Turtles aren't captured by the Kraang but the same kind of events are still allowed to play out?

Well the turtles are a product of the Kraang's mutagen, so they probably planned on sending them to Dimension X and experimenting on them further.

I don't know that that makes a lot of sense. With the possible exception of Pigeon Pete it doesn't seem like the Kraang are in the business of just either randomly creating mutants or messing with existing random mutants. And they already have a ton of animals and plant DNAs stored in that mutation mega mixer thing that accidentally made Justin... so they could actively create whatever mutants they want rather than messing with four errant mutants who have done nothing but cause problems for them.

I loved the elevator fight, this is something we haven't really seen in other shows or something that is done all the time. I didn't care much about Tragg but I guess it's the same for the OT Tragg so I'm not really bummed he is used as nothing special except a big bad. I guess this confirms that The Kraang are indeed Utroms in this universe, kinda bummed we won't get Utroms but oh well. Don't care much about this version of leatherhead.

I liked this episode quite a bit. I was a little disappointed that General Traag was only used as a "big bad guy". I mean he didn't even speak at all and that was disappointing. I did like when Donnie hit him with his bo staff and he shook because it reminded me of a similar scene from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Secret of the Ooze. I liked seeing Leatherhead again but was sad to see him trapped in Dimension X for now anyway. I wonder what history he and Traag have. And interesting to know more about The Kraang's plans and that they are after April.

Whatever she is, The Kraang want her very much.. so I wouldn't count anything along those lines out.

I'm speculating that Kirby O' Neil mated with a Neutrino at some point, making April a hybrid of both species.

Nothing against your idea, but why does she have to be a pre-established character? Why not just make the mother some generic Neutrino.

They cant kill off the turtles...

Again the argument isn't that they should have killed the turtles. The argument is that the writers shouldn't have set up that scenario quite like that based on the Kraang's intention to kill the turtles on mutliple occasions thus far.

You must be iffy with a lot of cartoons then. Even Batman gets captured and the bad guy, even his evil alter universe counterpart, never thinks to just get rid of him and spare them the hassle and potential of being defeated.

Well, I finally got to watch this again... what a great episode! And it's got me thinking...

The scene with Leatherhead and the boys just made my day - Donnie and the whole face-grabbing thing was hilarious, especially after LH did the 'aunt cheek stretch' to Donnie. Poor Don has No clue why he's always the target of the face grabs.

In the spirit of over-analyzing, I have a growing theory as to why LH is always going after Donatello... it could be nothing, or this could be a connection to a larger revelation in the plot.

When Leatherhead was going through all the genetic experiments, at some point the Kraang gave him the ability to speak, to think, be self-aware... basically be a sentient being. And we've Also seen that the mutagen has the power to make someone psychic, as with the Rat King.

What's not to say that in the course of LH's genetic changes, that he's also gained a little bit of this psychic ability? To even be able to recognize the brainwaves of the Kraang?

If he's used the super-smart brainwaves of the Kraang to indicate where they are when he's either trying to fight them or escape them, it could be that our super-smart Donatello is giving off some of those similar brainwaves...

It would then stand to reason that in LH's white-eyed state, his psychic awareness is higher, and Donatello's brainwaves will attract his attention more, thus making him the first target.

Then, there's the question of April: Have we seen April and LH interact? What if there is some sort of connection between her and the Kraang? If there was, LH may be able to sense that... which could be good Or bad, depending on his emotional state.

IF she were something unusual, LH would be able to detect that she's not a typical human being. Heck, he might be able to tell her something about herself.

This could prove to be an interesting angle to look at between these two characters: One who doesn't know about her past, and One that has had way too much experience with that past...

Aw.. That's awesome! :tsmile:

Also, now that I think about it Machias.. Leatherhead's brain was modified to the point where he is smart enough to build all those complex traps. So your theory just keeps sounding better and better. As for his interactions with April, well, we didn't see the time between The plotting in the lair and April delivering them into TCRI. Who knows, maybe Leatherhead felt something was different about her. :twink:

Exactly what I was thinking! ^_^

As for the next ep, "While trying to foil a Kraang invasion plot, the Turtles are hunted by a giant cockroach." reeeeeeeally sounds like Scumbug to me. No big deal if it isn't, but Ill be surprised if Mikey doesn't at least suggest that name.

I dunno, I think he looks enough like the 4Kids incarnation that I really don't feel the need to get the Nickelodeon version.

You could keep him MIB.. :twink: While I agree he does look similar, I think the new sculpt looks unique enough to justify purchase of the new figure.

I've been searching for a 4Kids Leatherhead, but I haven't found one for a good price yet...

Right now it seems like every other week is a new episode. So if the trend continues, new episode this Friday, not next friday, and so on.
