Which Tmnt 1987 series dvds have slipcovers etc.?

I'm looking to find out which volumes/seasons of the 1987 series have slipcovers or other goodies that they should come with if i wanted to have a complete collection?

Yes, Season 1 does, along with Volume 5 (The third quarter of Season 3), as well as every Season from 4 onwards. Having a slipcover is often a sign that the disc is in very good to like new condition since casuals would tend to throw it out. I like Volume 5's the best with the hologram effect. There are also specially released slices of Season 4 that contain a mini-action figure (its junk to collectors, but still cool if you are a true completist).

It was season 7 that was released in "slices". Not the fourth season.

I personally held out for the complete seventh season set. I don't think I missed out by not getting the figurines packaged with the four individual parts.

Same here... I hate all that 'Volume' crap when it comes to DVD. I'm not buying encyclopedias here... just gimme' the whole damn thing. :tgrumble:
