i stopped recieving notifications for any of the topics I am watching, eventhough I didn't request not to be notified, is somethign wrong with the site or just my account?

I'm curious, has anyone tried Shutting off the feature, then turning it back on? Maybe it will reset the feature, and possibly work again? I know it's a long shut but...
