Who's the most interesting character going forward?

With there being no episodes listed beyond Episode 18 so far, no one knows where season 1 goes from here. So I figured this would be a good time to ask this.

I'm sure many people will probably think April since the aftermath of the "TCRI" episode. But I personally think that Donnie is one that is going to be the most interesting to follow because of his relationship with April.

I've stated on fanfiction that I think that some point Donnie is going to be captured trying to protect April from The Kraang. Maybe a long shot, but it seems they're pushing that the Donnie-April relationship is a big deal.

What's everyone else's opinion?

We do know of one episode for the future, "Karai's Vendetta"

Probably Karai/Miwa, April and maaaybe Baxter.

Most of the other villains/mutants are pretty one-dimensional monsters. Dogpound and Xever might be the only two to be more than "crazy monsters that attack the turtles."

I definitely think Donnie is who I am most entertained by, but as for who/what I want to learn more about, I guess that's the whole Splinter/Shredder/Karai/Miwa conspiracy and stuff. & I'm quite interested in the Kraangs agenda, and what kinda stuff is going on with their home dimension.

As much as I love the Turtles and Splinter, the one's that have captured my attention are

Snakeweed - Not only is he my favorite of the mutants but I believe we've just scraped the surface with his potential. That being said I believe he should be used sparingly.

Shredder - The fact that in this incarnation he has been used less is actually a good thing as it builds his menace and power but I still want to know about his back story and objectives.

Leatherhead - I always have loved Leatherhead, this version is no exception, but again I feel Leatherhead should be used sparingly.

Dogpound & Fishface - Not only would I like to see them in a fight with the Turtles but I just think there is so much you can do with the two of them. How about an episode where they deal with not being human anymore.

Pigeon Pete - I find him fascinating. Please bring him back.

Traag - What's his story? Are there more rock soldiers? Does he speak? What else is in Dimension X?

All that being said, I actually find one character very boring. April is actually less interesting now that it's revealed she's not human. I liked it more when the only thing connecting her to the Kraang was her missing father.

I want to see her develop without Donnie right there.

I kinda want to see Michelangelo and Leatherhead's friendship build a little more. I love those two.

Donnie, for sure. They changed him up a lot from the 4kids version. Plus I'm really interested in seeing how his crush on April's going to play out when Casey enters the picture. I can see looots of dramaful moments involving Donnie.

To my surprise, I'm also really digging Mikey. He acts like such a kid and I think that's where the appeal is. I want to see him learn and adapt and overcome situations, mostly because he's usually the one getting INTO situations and then having his brothers bail him out.

Splinter and Karai!


I am dead interested in these two and seeing them moving forward.

I would wish for more time around Splinter, and well.. I Would kine of like.. an Splinter centred episode one day. He really is dead fascinating to me, and I would love to learn more, as well as find out how he is going to move forward in the future.

He is going to get out and face the Shredder at some point, and it's going to be the battle of the ages, that would be the time to have an two parter, just to get the fight probably done.

Karai, oh dear Karai, how I love thee. I love how smart she is, she comes across as just being so smart. she's fun and she is going to go place, that whole Miwa thing is still a thing, and yeah. How will people react, what will they do, what will be the out-come???? questions burning in my mind.

Some-day they need to have a big mutant rumble where all of the evil mutants team up together to get to the turtles.

Man I really like the fact that this show went out of its way to give all of the mutants origins, they have firmly established that none of these mutants are monsters they are all people
And that's brilliant, it makes it all more interesting.

I also want more with Dogpound and Fish-face, I see what the creators did there with them, and I love it.

Clearly the creators wanted to create Shredders two top henchmen as mutants, as a call-back to bebop and Rocksteady.
They wanted to make these two henchmen both funny like Bepop and rocksteady and a genuine threat for a more modern age, on the same time, so that was a nut to crack, and how did they do it?

They created two exstremely different characters, with each their set of opposit values and there-fore don't get along, at all! They hated each others guts from day one. That Xever seemed kind of happy that the turtles would kill Bradford tells plenty about their relationship doesn't it? They would be happy to stab each other in the back, and thus seriously don't trust the other part (For good reason.)

And now they are just stuck on each other because of circumstances.
And the scenes that does come out of that, are funny, I love their interactions, I love how much they just hate each other and have no respect for each other at all, how much they love the other persons pain and all of the biggering :lol:
I want to see more of that, develop them further, just seeing them be stuck on each other is so much fun.

I'm interested in Karai, Splinter, Shredder, and the Kraang. I'd also like to see a Mikey centered episode where he learns more lessons and, of course, some more Leo, too.

Right now I'm most interested in Splinter/Shredder. I can't wait to see how it all unfolds.

I hope Splinter fights Shredder. I feel like it has to happen, because, for once, Splinter's not elderly by comparison.

But I'm guessing this Kraang stuff will come to a head, first, and I expect Dimension X to play a big role when it does. If that's true, Mikey should be pretty important, with his relationship with Leatherhead, and maybe a certain Neutrino. We'll see.

I'd like to kinda see The Rat King sometime again. :trazz: And like a lot of members said, I'd like more Karai, Shredder, Splinter, and Leatherhead.

This is a tough one since there are so many characters that have interesting development in this series which is part of the reason why I enjoy this show so much. That said, I still feel that April has the biggest development ahead. She now needs to defend against the Kraang as shown in TCRI. Since she's still in high school, her career later on will dictate her later role. Let's not forget finding Kirby and her development in Ninja training along with her improving technical skills. Shredder/Splinter are right behind, since they've never battled yet in this series!

I really want to see Leatherhead expanded upon going forward. There's just so much more I want to know about him! I want to learn more of what he has been though in Dimension X, His friendship with Mikey(and eventually the other turtles), what he knows about the Kraang, and possibly what he knows about April's involvement with them. As well as him conquering his inner rage, and reversing the damage done to him by the Kraang.

Spike- Will Spike ever mutate? What's the outcome; Venus, Slash, Tokka, or Terrorpin?

Pigeon Pete- Who is he? How often does he help the turtles? Is he the new Ace Duck?
