The current Splinter from the Nick show is the best looking, imo.

Out of all of the different Splinters there has ever been.. I think that the current Splinter design is the best. He's much taller than the turtles so you feel his physical maturity when they're all together. Also, they NAILED it as far as the rat design is concerned.

This Splinter is my favorite. The acting.. The design.. The relationship emphasis.. All of it.

I like his personality the best definitely. But I have a fondness for the original toon design of Splinter, and the simple design of the Movie/Mirage Splinter.

I have no idea which Splinter design I like the best. I don't care if he's tall or short or what species he started out as...he's just Splinter, y'know? :D

Unsolicited Opinions on the Various Splinter Designs:

Nick Splinter looks cool because of his distinct possum-like facial markings and ratlike hands and feet, and I'm like that he actually resembles the rats what scurry around him.

I just love FW Splinter's design for some reason, especially in the earliest colour schemes he had. Something about that design comes together.

4Kids Splinter...well, I dig the Nicodemus eyebrows, but not the bent snout. The Movie 4-based redesign actually looked better, and I like that look, too.

Live-action movie Splinter is also cool because he's more ratlike, though there's something creepy about the puppet.

Archie Splinter had a lot of different designs, but I remember most the tall, round-eared Splinter from the tail end of the run, whom I liked, even if his face reminded me of Bugs Bunny.

Mirage Splinter looks cool, but his blank eyes are a little odd.

My top 5 favorite Splinter:

1. The Splinter from the first movie. Out of all the Splinter designs(especially the live action Splinter). This one has the most rat like look. I also like the cut ear(so much I always wondered as a kid how did Splinter get his ear back in the 2k3 and original cartoon).


2.Splinter from OT. In terms of the animated series the feeling I had for the 90s movie for this. Splinter actually had a sewer rat like look. He was the perfect animated Splinter.

3.Splinter from the 2007 movie was a perfect meld of the original live action Splinter and the 4kids Splinter.

4.Splinter from Nick toon. Like Ninj and Ptreobat said I like the possum/various rat mixed they gave him and he is slowly becoming my favorite. I like how they mixed the OT Hamato Yoshi with the Mirage Hamato Yoshi origin. He is one of the best Hamato Yoshi/Splinter in my opinion

5.mirage splinter. I liked everything about the Splinter look like the white eyes the silent meditating master look. He was perfect.I love the simple design he had.
