In the letters section of TMNT vol 4- Peter Laird has stated a few times that he hopes to start shipping Tales of TMNT by january. He says that outlines are already prepared, and I think pencils and stuff have already been done for some. I dont remember exactly, but its in the letters section.

Yeah when I email Dan two days ago he told me that they plan to release it in January. The cover art looks great (it's on a recent Blast from the Past page if you've not seen it).

Does anyone know what the format of this book is going to be? Is it going to be along the lines of the original “Tales of the TMNT”, or an anthology book like “Turtle Soup”? Also, has a creative team been named yet?

Probably like original Tales, each issue has one story.

Yeah it'll probably be like the original series. Peter has said it will mainly fill in the gaps of the 15 years between Vol. 2 and Vol. 4. Think it would be cool if they did some stories set in the classic Vol. 1 era as well, or to show how each of the TMNT adjusted to their new life in the 6 months mentioned in Vol. 4 #5.

I am not sure but I am leaning towards what the origianal "Tales of TMNT" was like.
