avi clip

I just got an avi. clip from IRC.But for some reason there is only sound but NO graphic.Can someone tell me what can i do to see it?

Try installing the DivX codec (http://www.divx-digest.com/software/divxcodec.html).

This one (http://ftp.pcworld.com/pub/video/video_tools/divx_3.11alpha.zip). Also, make sure you have Windows Media Player installed (6.0 or above).

As most people know I had the same problem. Your version of Windows Media Player doesn't really matter because I've watched them on lower versions than 6.0. But yeah all you need is the divx codec and a decent video player.

hmmm...the first divx file i got was a tmnt episode, from bq's place...i think i got it the first day i got adsl, and i got the same problem since i didn't knew what the heck the divx codec was!
These were good days...yes...
good days...i think im gonna go watch some eps now instead of replying to every old post i find, because i cant sleep ^_^;
