Who's your favorite female TMNT character?

For now, it's gonna be 2012 April, no question. I voted other just because my choice is universe specific. I'm not much into the other Aprils, so I don't wanna dedicate a vote to her knowing that the majority of them bore me.

Mona Lisa hands down. I kinda like Caitlin from the Boldini episode as well because I once knew a pretty blonde girl in college by that name.

Karai, without a doubt. Not the Mirage Karai...not a fan. But I love what the 2k3 did with her, and IDW & Nick are handling her nicely.

I narrowed it down to three choices: Ninjara, Mona Lisa and Alopex but in the end I voted other for Ninjara.

It was a hard decision between April and Karai, but I just like April more. Karai's great too, but I just like April's comical side too, in ALL versions of her.

I can't believe I'm the only person to vote for Irma! I don't know, she always made me laugh. And I thought the VA (can't remember her name at the moment) did a fantastic job.

A close second favorite female character for me is Renet. For 2 big reasons, if you catch my drift :trazz:

Of course its April, especially in versions where she's referred to as "Miss O'Neil". Her character changes with each new universe while having the occassional shout out, making her an exciting character to watch. Karai of course is next, the Foot's top female adversary. But I have a soft spot for Joi from the Ninja Tribunal Acolytes and made a great subsitution during that arc where April was mostly absent and was probably the most beautifully animated female of the 4kids version.

It's hardly opinion since more then 75% of fans and peter laird hate this character. But how about you why do you like venus so much, what is there NOT to hate about her, what is there to defend about her?

I haven't gone all the way back through the entire franchise, but I have a soft spot for Quarry, since she's one of the few "monstrous" female characters in sci-fi, and that's pretty cool.

For a character with more substance, I'd vote for Ninjara, and I'm surprised to see she's not on the poll. Her backstory could have used some development, and her exit from the series felt contrived, but it was good to have a new character on the Archie team to make it distinct, and a fox dating a turtle is so freaking weird. :lol:

April from the original series. She was my first crush as a kid lol. Plus she was always getting into the action doing what she could to help the turtles so it made her not just a damsel in distress, something I never seen before as a kid until that point.

Also Kala from the Neutrinos. I like that she's a kind person and has a big heart.

I put the vote in on Alopex since she caught my interest in the Secret History of the Foot Clan story.
Otherwise it be April.

Karai seems cool but I havn't been exposed to her on a level where I care anything about the character. The others are forgettable (Mona Lisa I only remembered after seeing her toy). And to me, Venus doesn't exist hehe :tlol:

I finally just said screw it and voted for Mona Lisa. There are versions of April and Karai that I like but not all of them, and I'd rather give my vote to someone I like in their entirety. Mona Lisa was the easy choice as she was kind of fun and limited to only one episode so what ya see is what ya get.

I chose April O'Neill...amazing in both cartoon and 1990 ninja turtles movie. I like the episode when she winks at the turtles and it is reserved for splinter (return of the shredder) :D
