I'm not sure if this is thread-worthy, but, I don't know where else to ask it. Does anyone notice that we haven't seen spike for awhile?
I know some people are really fans of him. So, why do you think spike has been gone for awhile?

Probably because the action has picked up, and the writers want us to see the Turtles kicking butt and not just chilling at home. I'm sure we'll see Spike again sometime. We've just gotten into the heart of things now, so it'll be a while before we get back to normal with everything building up.

That way Raph and Slash will have a dynamic and Raph will be forced to fight what was his best buddy.

i had the same thought. anyway, i'm not really worried about Spike. its like Mikey's cat in the 2k series. shows up on occasion when they remember it.

Spikes an nice little box turtle, he'll show up again soon.
I would rather they use a different backstory for Slash. like maybe a clone of the shredder gets mutated into him, and has a break down upon realizing that he isn't the Shredder, just a clone of the Shredder.
But I am sure what ever they go with will be cool....

I was going to say that surely the guys themselves (the Turtles I mean) would be able to tell, but...hmm...maybe they wouldn't.:lol: Hard to say I guess.

I'm unsure on if I want to see Spike mutate in the future or not. It'd be an interesting way to bring in Slash or Tokka or something, that's for sure, but if they did that...well, they'd kind of have to break him away from Raph somehow, otherwise they'd be adding a 5th Turtle to the team, something I'm not extremely fond of myself and can't see them doing anymore.
