DragonBall Evolution was a decent children's wuxia film, and would have probably been seen as a better piece of work overall if it didn't have the license. Last Airbender was 100 times better than the godawful cartoon.

And maybe this film will go down in flames, and the revamped in twenty years will be the best TMNT film of all time.

Avatar and The Last Airbender are not related but with the success of Cameron's film, which was in production well before the cartoon was conceived, there would have been confusion if they named it the proper cartoon name.

Avatar in Cameron's film is about the same as a game avatar... your "character" into another world.
In the cartoon and movie, the Avatar was the master at bending all elements and who would bring peace to the nations.

Anyway it's silly to predict how well this movie would do.
Bay CAN direct action well, I'll give him that much. I liked the action in the Bad Boys movies and I haven't seen Pain and Gain (and probably wont. Already seen Jurassic Park and Evil Dead so that's fine until Iron Man 3). But I never was sold on Transformers and I wasn't really a fan of it growing up. I was more into TMNT, Inspector Gadget and so on and I didn't know about transforming robots until Beast Wars hit.

He did come out and finally state that these Turtles are not aliens and that they are formed from the Ooze. To take this into context with his previous statement would mean that the Ooze itself in alien matter and it causes the Turtles to turn.
I dont know anything else about the project and I dont know anyone that is cast in the roles except Megan Fox which... I hope is recasted. Poor April...

Dragon Ball wasn't as bad as the Transformers movies, it just wasn't very Dragon Ball. Airbender was awful, the can't stop looking at the traffic accident kind of awful.

No, I think TMNT. If it is going toturn out be a bad movie, it will either be on the same level of Transformers 1 or 3, or any of the Platinum Dunes horror movie remakes.

DBE is on a whole different level of awful compared to other adaptations. Say what you will about the Transformers films, but at the very least they looked pretty. Even if the script is garbage and the actors do an awful job at interpreting said script, I have full faith that at the very least, this movie will look pretty.

Well, after getting hate from fans over what they had one from the film already at least they seem to be trying to work out with us :D

I don't even want to get into it with it about Dragon Ball Evolution, none of it made the bit of sense. Its like the people who wrote the film didn't know jack about the series and read fan fiction off the net and decided to work with that. Next think you know they'll pair 18 with Gohan in the if they had the next film, even though she hooked up with Krillin :roll: Goku/Chichi in High School?? Goku didn't even go to High school, if they wanted to do that kind of story, they could have had it be about Gohan instead since he did and had fallen in love with Videl who he meet at high school, they don't like doing things that make sense though so we got this instead :roll:

I hated the Avatar film myself, they casted odd actors for the characters and what the heck was that mess? Still, my opinion I'd say it was a million times better than Dragon Ball Evolution :lol:

Did some one say Transformers in here? I thought that one was ok, than again I never really was a fan of that series to begin with so I guess thats why I'm so so with that film series.
