TMNT Wave 3: X-Treme Sports Turtles

Here are the final fully painted images of the TMNT Extreme Sports Turtles. Now that I've seen the final versions, they don't look all that bad. Infact, they look pretty cool. I need to stop expecting the worse, just from looking at sculpts and concept art. So here they are, The X-Treme Turtles. Scootin' Leonardo, Thrashin' Mike, Bikin' Donatello, and Skatin' Raphael. They look cool, but Mike's outfit is ugly.

Yep. That's my only real complaint also. Mikey's outfit looks terrible. For the coolest turtle, you'd think he'd have better fashion sense. The biggest fear I have, is they said if these sell well....that they'd do an X-Treme Splinter. I don't even wanna guess at what that would be. :o :D

Well I'd say at this point Raph looks the coolest. Mike is awful and Leo is pretty close, but I'm dig'n Donny's face mask! Not enough to warrent buying them all (if any). I may pick up Raph though.

I can see why they did him that way though. I mean look how his behaviour in the show effects people around them. They usually look at him funny for how crazy he acts, so they wanted something to compliment that.

X-Treme Splinter! His walking staff all the sudden transforms into an x-treme pogo stick! Now Splinter can be X-Treme just like the other turtles and fight X-treme evil!

That word has become so overused. blecgh

But those figs look alright, I guess. Mike's suit is pretty homo, but his rocketboard thingy is pretty cool.

I dunno... first of all, I can't stand the word "X-treme" esspecially when spelled with an X...

They look kind of cool I guess, except Mikey looks like he is wearing April's jumpsuit from the old show! :lol: But I can't say they are great, they just took the first line figues and added stuff...

Eh... I'll get the Donnie and Raph. I don't see pegs on Mike's skateboard, so that could be a problem, and I despise scooters...

Did anyone notice the heads are all the same, just switched a bit? Leo has Raph's mouth, Mikey has Dons, Don has Mikey's, and Raph has Leo's.....

Scooters.. are not extreem sports equiptment, but the Lep looks great. Mike looks ok, but why not give him a normal skateboard? You know like a copy of those fingerboards, instead of this bulky green 2x4. Donny.. doesn't look bad, unless that's a smile painted on his face mask like I think it is.. UGH. The bike is made fine, but the paint is too generic. Raph, looks nice, I like. Even though I don't like Raph as a blader, In my opinion they should have made the whole line one thing.. like skateboarders (with better skateboards, or surffers.. Oh, well, I'll still buy a couple.

I'd rather they'd actually make the things they use look real. What's all of the weird stuff on the skateboard? Why not make it an actual skateboarD? And why do they have to wear all of that crap?

in order the best in my opinion is

1.Raph
2.Leo
3.Don
4.mikey

The only one im a tad disapointed in is mike, but he doesnt look bad ether. im glad they made them look alot diferent from the first wave of turtles. Ill deffinatly get everyone of these. Besides no one gets only 1 or 2 turtles. if you get one you gotta get them all.

I take it Don is the only sane one on the team now. Honsstly do they need to agment all the other equipment with giant propultion systems?

So...you think they sewed all that spandex stuff themselves? I wouldn't think that guys who don't regularly wear clothing would be good at making form-fitting outfits.

Well....uh....I plan on not getting any of them. I've plunged too much money into cheap figures like this when I was a kid. I'm not stupid enough for it now!

I think what would have been better was if the equipment they had was simplified to realistic proportions, with the exception of Don's. Also if they must wear clothes and have these things wouldn't they be a bit dirty? The cartoon has not aired here yet so I don't know, but they do live either in a sewer or in that train station still right? The turtles don't earn any money so if they had these things they would have had to find them down in the sewers or in the garbage, even if Don did fix them up a bit they would still look a bit messed up....

oh yeah any word on weather these will be carded or come boxed?

Altough They look not so bad after all, they still used Raphs head sculpt for Leo, Dons for Mikey, mikey's for Don, and Leo's head for Raph

I might get Raph, cause he's my fav! (although he has the shape and mouth of Leo's head)

Exactly. The idea of Turtles and Xtreme Sports doesn't mix. Why don't they just bring out the figures that everyone would want like the Foot Elite or others that we would like to see on the shelves.
