Which TMNT had the best lair

Hmm, I love the one from the cartoon for it's nostalgic and semi-realistic feel, but I think the coolest is the current one in the Nickelodeon series.
Also I gotta give a nod to the one from Secret Of The Ooze, that place is badass. Actually, it might be a contender even!

Or the OT one. But not 2k3, I never cared for that one.

I assume we're not talking toys (if we are, I like the first one. I loved that telephone swing pole). I like the first movie lair. This is going to sound stupid, but it just looks real. If there were real things as ninja turtles they would live their.

I'd say the Nick Lair is the most functional out of the versions I've seen (haven't had a chance to watch 2K3, I'm stubbornly waiting for a box set). I can appreciate a good layout but I must admit my understanding of said lair is mostly based on that fan map someone posted in another thread.

Nick's is an old subway system, I can picture something like that under the streets of NYC.

for sure 80's cartoon one it actually looks like a place to chill and the New Nick one [thank god] is different and nice size too, the 2003 one looks like trash and completely while the secret of the Ooze one was beyond stellar..

Yeah, your right about that, especialy the Playset version. I couldn't see THAT underground!

Well, with the 2K3 series, WHICH lair are we talking about? The first one that got caved in from the Mousers, the A'lyntian one, or the one under Belvedere Castle? Personally, I like the one under the Castle. That pump station was realistic, and would have made sense. Plus, with it being in Central Park, they had easy access to the surface, both in and out of water. The first one in that series is a lot like the Ot one, which is also a nice nod to that series. (And incidentally, I actually liked the A'lyntian one- it was pretty cool with all the different rooms and the elevator. I actually liked that entire plot arc, so having it there not only made sense for the arc, but gave them a reason to find Sydney and her companions in the first place!)

I'm not really a fan of the Nick one- it doesn't really look like any subway stations I've ever seen- it just doesn't seem like that's what it was ever really used for. But the SotO one- THAT could be possible!

I personally like the TMNT 1990 movie lair the best. It actually looks like what most of the sewers back home in NY are supposed to look like: dirty, dark, cramped and messy. Although, we still do have a good number of nice big, open and clean waterway tunnels too. Not too fond of the other sewer dens from the other universes; they looked too spacious, clean and organized.

I'll go for the Nick lair. I liked the OT lair's cozy feeling, but the Nick lair is just so awesome I would definitely spend some of my time there.

I liked the 2k3 one too, but I guess I can't really find it realistic either.

I'd have to go with the SOTO lair. I've always thought that one was just awesome. It felt like it could be a real place, but it also just had a really fun design.

I have always liked the OT lair's bedroom area, though. I liked how it was one big room with four little spaces for each of the Turtles' stuff/beds.

I like the one from the original series the best. It does have that nostalgic feeling to it plus my mom stood in line forever to get me the toy version of it. I loved that playset and it brings back a lot of good memories.

I like the 2k3 lair (A'lyntian) cause it seemed so expansive to me (how many rooms did we not actually see?). Plus they had that awesome underwater access, that wrapped around the lair like a moat, and the elevator that led to their garage (an abandoned warehouse with perhaps more awesome stuff?).

I'm also really partial to the IDW lair (the abandoned church), due to it's many levels. I guess that may be kinda silly, but I find it to be an interesting concept. Can't wait to see more of it.

And then there's the Nick one. I agree that the lair seems like a fun place to chill at. You got an inside swimming pool with a tire swing, a tree that is somehow growing underground to relax under, and an awesome living room with arcade games out the wazoo to play. Who wouldn't want to be there?
