There are people out there like that. You guys just have to look for it.

Take the Pokemon franchise for example, there are some people who wasted the last 10 years of their life crying over Misty leaving the Pokemon anime and they desperately send petitions to Nintendo to bring her back. Which is laughable and idiotic since the anime is aimed at 6 year olds and not 20+ year old adults who want their precious Misty back. Yet they sit there year after year crying over Misty and sending death threats to the Pokemon writers about it.

I'm willing to bet there are some people out there really happy about this. In the IGN article alone there are so many hate comments toward Megan Fox.

Now thats just sad, I don't remember her getting any comments like that from Transformers fans till she from rumors are saying she got into a fight with one of the producers and got fired for that :ohwell:

It might have more to do with her pregnancy. Some women go through hair loss several months after having a kid. It grows back.

If they were using "staying true to the original series" as the reasoning for dyeing Fox's hair red, than the are wrong.

April didn't have red hair in the original comic or the Fred Wolf toon. The latter, which I thinking they are basing Fox's April on.

I don't agree with the notion that April has to have red hair. April has looked very different in many of her depictions.

I hear ya. Having Megan Fox have red hair wasn't that important to me, I mean it would be a nice tribute of sorts, but NOT necessary like some fans were demanding.... yeesh.

By the way, I never understood why people assumed OT April was a redhead. Every OT episode I ever saw her, was her being a brunette. Can anybody post an actual screenshot of OT April being a redhead? Sorry, but I just don't know where this concept of an OT redheaded April is coming from :ohwell: ...unless we are talking about the 2003 April. Then that's a whole different story.

Well the IGN article posted earlier didn't state its source was from the tabloid "Star", but that gossipcop website said the information was from the "Star" tabloid. But whatever, I'm not gonna lose sleep on this information. :P

Well this TVTropes article would apply here then, Heroes Want Red Heads (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HeroesWantRedHeads). I guess some have been so conditioned for the love interest or damsel in distress, to be a redhead, they forcefully pushed April's character to be redhead. I mean just look at her hair color evolution, from Mirage April (having black hair), to OT April and 90s movie April (a brunette), and lastly with 2003 April, 2007 movie April, and Nick April (all three being prominent redheads).

April has a natural red hair color in the OT and the first movie. I don't know what technicolor shade you think red has to be, but it's definitely red. The variations run from a light ginger to auburn. Then you have the (admittedly cool) bottle shades. Her hair in this movie looks brown with red highlights, but I'd still consider it brunette.

"Definitely Red"...? It's just that typically with comics and cartoons, if they want to indicate someone is a redhead they usually make it more extreme as with 2003 April & 2012 April, and not so ambiguous with OT April's auburnish hair color. That's all...
