What do you think are the characters favorite genres of television

So I've been thinking what would some of the TMNT characters would watch during their free time
Mikey- Sentai Raph- Forensics and Crime Mysterious Don - Doctor Who Splinter - Soaps April - Horror Karai - Fantasy Chris Bradford - Supernatural drama Xever- Anime Shredder - Superheroes

I think they may like certain genres. It doesn't have to be one. Leo may not be only interested in Science Fiction, but I do see him watching an action or Japanese Samurai flick. Plus, maybe at 18 he'll get into crime dramas. I see Donnie watching documentaries, but mostly science fiction, too. Mikey will mostly be cartoons and reality TV. Raph will be wrestling and a few fantasy shows (some sci-fi, I guess). It depends. Still, that's up to the writers.

Heh. I think it'd be funny if they made some sort of reference towards Teen Titans in the show and have Mikey comment on it.

But yeah I can picture Donnie watching documentaries (like when he commented on the him and his brothers possibly being freshwater turtles in ''Never Say Xever'', I can imagine him getting that from a documentary.) and Raph watching a lot of wrestling. I imagine Leo is pretty heavy into sci-fi and Mikey watches a lot of cartoons.

I actually noticed one slight connection to Teen Titans. In "It Came from the Depths" Mike tries to wake up Leatherhead by saying "Wakey wakey eggs and bacey", and in an episode of Teen Titans, Beast Boy said, "Wakey wakey tofu eggs and bacey" haha.
Anyways, I can totally see Raph watching wrestling, maybe hockey or football. Donnie I can see watching documentaries, Mikey cartoons and movies, and Leo is a hard one. I know he loves Space Heroes, but what beyond that? I like some of the other suggestions, samurai films, or maybe even some King Arthur films with the honorable knights?

Well, I don't know much about their watching habits on the Nick show, but in the OT, Mikey was a HUGE fan of Japanese monster movies (Godzilla and Rodan rip-offs on the show), Raph was into stand-up comedy, and Donatello enjoyed science shows. And of course, they all watched the news when April was on. There were also instances of them watching cartoons. Splinter and Krang were both fans of soaps, apparently (Krang seemed to have a guilty secret obsession with them) and Rocksteady and Bebop both liked cartoons.

2K3 Mikey liked horror movies, and Raph and Casey were fans of sports programs. Casey and April also both liked westerns, from the "Ultimate Ninja" ep.

Oooh, interesting discussion. Here are my picks:

Leo: Space Heroes and possibly Japanese anime as well as Japanese martial arts films.

Don: Documentaries and possible historical shows on The History Channel.

Raph: Most sports except for golf. I can definitely see him as a huge wrestling fan, though I can see the others watching it was well save for Donnie.

Mikey: Cartoons mostly.

Splinter: Soap operas and maybe some reality TV if he's interested.

Leo watches Space Heroes and had issue 1 of Space heroes comic book (until Mikey apparently used it to actually whip his but..........) so I'd have to say SiFi/fantasy.

Donny likes science, science is his life and he know almost every science term in the dictionary, so I'd say documentary for him.

Raph is an odd one, he probably would be out playing football or beating up Mikey in his spare time, but if anything I see him watching sports.

Mickey has some sort of monster of the sewer magazine, and it seemed like he was watching super heroes in one episode, so I'd say Monster movies and Cartoons
