One of the problem I had with Turtles Forever was that it felt kinda of short and had many missed Possibilities, like we never saw 2k3 April interact with 2K12 April, one of the problems I have with crossovers is that they tend to be short and lack development, so do you guys think it should and hour long or maybe at least 6-8 episodes

honestly i'd rather there be NO crossover, but since we're getting it rather i like it or not, I'd rather it just be one episode and not a long storyline.
2012 is a fresh start, I don't want to see the previous turtle incarnations popping up all the time... give this new universe its own chance to grow and have its own identity

Agreeing with Zulithe here. An 8 :o episode crossover seems like a looonggg storyline that would make the other Turtles too intrusive on the Nick show's tone.
Let the Nick show have it's own unique identity first. It's disappointing sometimes how so many fans are insistent or adamant that the Nick show have OT, Archie, or 2K3 elements constantly. While it is nice to have some of these other elements from previous incarnations, let's not have Nick have too many plots or characters from other incarnations that would make others critically state that the show seems like an "imitation" of them.
A 12 part Sonic/TMNT epic for the win.

No, I'm all for a one hour special. That would work just fine.

I like the 1 hour special idea.. and it would be nice if it was not injected into the main story arc.. heck even better it could all just be a dream of mikey's or something.

When they first announced the crossover, I thought it was gonna be something like this: The Nick turtles get seen by someone who decides to make the idea into a cartoon, creating the "Fred Wolf" show as a fictional representation of the turtles within the nick universe. And Mikey probably being the only one who thinks its cool. But now that we know that the turtles are interacting with each other, i cant wait to see how they handle the dimension hopping.

I agree 100%, to be honest, I'm kind of sick of seeing the OT turtles all the time. Merchandise and whatnot is one thing, but for them to just randomly appear in this new show is really stupid to me.

I'd like two seperate crossovers. 1 for the OT Turtles and 1 for the 4kids Turtles.

Agree with this. Crossovers seem like a gimmick to me and the 2nd season is way too early for something like this.

I personally am a HUGE fan of crossovers....if they're done well. That is where Turtles Forever failed in my book. While it was not horrible, I can certainly enjoy it, it did not do as well as I felt it could have. They did have an interesting plot point and lots of interactions got lost that would have been neat to see but I can see why they paced it like they did.
Now, as for this forthcoming crossover, I am inclined to go with an unspoken rules of old cartoons. If you have a long story to tell, or a detailed one, rather than cramming it into one or two episodes, make 2 two parters. I think 8 episodes is too long but a 3-4 parter, I can see that working. I actually hope they don't go for the "it's a dream" explanation or the "breaking the 4th wall dimension" for the dimensional hopping because that is very stereotypical way to erase information or explain why only one person is effected, etc and I find it pretty lazy to be perfectly frank. Especially given the universe of turtles, there are all kinds of magical and scientific explanation they can use that would make a lot more sense.

Hopefully a one hour special, 8 episodes is ridiculously long. Honestly don't care to see a crossover with the 2K3 ones.

Let each show rest in peace, and stand alone. TMNT isn't DC/Marvel Comics with Earth One/Earth Two or whatever.

a michaelangelo dream would be perfect
leo ends up watching his favorite show and then walks away. mikey flips on a station and comes across a lot of 80s/90s themed ideas
whoa... i wonder what we would have been like back in that day...

Totally unrelated to the animated series but I've long felt that in the comics medium the Mirage and Archie continuities were kind of like Earth 1 and 2 from DC's multiverse. In fact it almost seemed to be treated in some of Tales V2 were Cudley the Cowlick started showing up.
