So I have seen this movie countless times, I own it on VHS, DVD and BluRay now... and since moving and I disappeared from here, I have seen it atleast 3-4 times now.

Watching the BluRay I can finally turn subtitles on during the movie (I believe either the DVD disc or player wouldn't let me flip subtitles on/off during the movie).
A few lines I figured out from the DVD... like during the foot attack in the sewers (while Splinter is being rescued) and Donatello heads out on his skateboard and Raph yells something back, I didn't know what it was and then found out it was "SHOW OFF!"

Well... there is a line that Sam Rockwell's gang member character says at the end of the film... a line I never thought about, I have always heard but while I was watching the BluRay I finally thought "Where?"

Rockwell tells the cops their hideout is over at the "East warehouse over on Lairdman Island". I had always assumed it was some real location in New York... when I finally decided to see the words in text on screen I was all "!!!!!" I always assumed it to be some throw away line about a location. No idea this was a pun in my face for almost 30 years.

So ya, clever little pun. Thought I would share, although I'm probably going to get a lot of "Old news" or "You're just now figuring this out?" type comments. Oh well. :tcool:

:tlol:Lol.....yeah I'm sure a lot of others wouldn't want to tarnish their image by admitting it but it's not so easy to catch. It particularly depends on how you were introduced to the turtles (If you saw the movie 'cause you like/watch the show or because you like/read the comic) or if you paid close attention to the opening credits (which I did, but completely forgot all about them once I heard Raph say "Damn!").

"Gang Way man, Ill take care of these guys"

The one line I always struggled with in this movie was when Raph rolls over the taxi and the taxi driver say something to the passenger...never figured it out.

"C'mon you ugly muggers! C'MON!" (:31)
That's another line I had needed subtitles for (years ago now). I had never caught it. It sounds to me more like some kinda offense with Casey calling them monkeys lol.

The actual disc subtitle for that part of the movie (:41 in the clip) is
"Gangway, Men
I'll take care of these guys".

To me it sounds like "Man" not "Men"

And to add even more to that line, the taxi driver is both the suit and voice actor for Raphael in that movie, right? I believe that's what I've always heard.

Speaking of, I know that the Michelangelo suit actor was also the pizza delivery guy...did the suit actors for Leonardo and Donatello have any "cameos" like this too?

The passenger says- "What the hell was that?"
To which the driver replies- "Looked like sort of a big turtle- in a trench-coat. You're going to LaGuardia, right?"

LaGuardia being the airport of that name, of course. I always thought it was funny how jaded it made New Yorkers seem- as if a giant turtle in a trench-coat running and screaming after someone wouldn't even phase them!

I think the driver is one of the other suit actors, though.

According to IMDB:

Josh Pais - Raphael (voice) / Man in Cab
Michelan Sisti - Michaelangelo / Pizza Man
Leif Tilden - Donatello / Foot Messenger
David Forman - Leonardo / Gang Leader

Did anyone ever notice in the first April mugging scene the line "I got her watch" sounds like the voice actor for the OT Leo?

As a kid all I could hear was "Come on you all green monkeys, come on!" I figured out what he said in my teens.

Some of the audio in the film is a bit muffled/drowned in the mix.
