Alamo Drafthouse TMNT II: THE SECRET OF THE OOZE Pizza Party w/ Ernie Reyes, Jr. LIVE (TMNT II: THE SECRET OF THE OOZE Pizza Party w/ Ernie Reyes, Jr. LIVE)

We have a new Alamo Drafthouse opening in Austin and they are doing a showing of Secret of the Ooze. Keno will be there with all you can eat pizza. My fiancee surprised me wtih tickets.

For those unfamiliar, Alamo Drafthouse is a Theater chain started in Austin, TX who specialize in playing older movies and new releases while serving beer and food. An amazing experience.

Alamo also owns Mondo who specialize in posters. I own these TMNT Mondo posters and they are top notch.

I guess overal I am just excited to have a company have such unique TMNT related items/expereinces in my city.

Very cool, I always wanted to visit the Alamo Drafthouse. Drink beer and enjoy a movie, they have a zero tolerance against people playing on there phones, etc.... Cool posters, have a couple Alamo/Mondo posters myself, just to share, here's 2 of my Alamo/Mondo released.....;)

Cool posters man, love the free pizza deal. Surprised there's no new print released for the showing?

I'm so incredibly happy they are building an Alamo Drafthouse here in San Francisco! Maybe I'll get to attend some of these boss events in the future.

The part i love most about drafthouse is that you go online, choose your seats in the theater, purchase them, and then show up and not have to worry about getting there too early just to get a good spot. Ticket prices are comparable to huge chain theaters and the experience is more intimate. They put togethere a fun theme "show" consisting of trailers/oddities related to the film showing rather than just run advertisements.

I was reading the Reddit AMA and apparently for Snakes on a Plane premeir, they brought in a rattlesnake wrangler. The assitant was bit and dropped a snake and it crawled into the crowd. What an experience that would have been.

Very nice :) Yeah I've been reading about Alamo online for many years, particularly from Ain't It Cool News who pimps them non-stop and holds lots of events there, plus frequent ticket giveaways.

All i can say is those of us here in the Bay couldn't believe our luck when they announced they were going to renovate one of our very old, abandoned theaters into a state-of-the-art Alamo... it's going to be fantastic.
