There is a webcomic I follow which has a forum which used to have a member who was an obnoxious know-it-all who rarely talked about the webcomic itself and instead talked a lot about himself and how knowledgeable he was, and he was one to insult people. He wasn't missed when he no longer posted (probably having been banned).
