Leo season 2 speculation thread

What do you think will be the arc for him in season 2? With, judging by the preview for the finale of season 1 he almost dies. Think it will sort of be like season 2 of the 2003 series all over again? I have a feeling it will be. I could see flashbacks of what happened, him being kind of afraid to fight and changing his fighting skills to be more almost killing some one, what do you guys think? Sorry for making one only on Leo, I'm interested in your ideas on this, thanks :)

Rather than being afraid, I think he'll go train in some foreign country forest alone. *GASP* No that's TMNT 2007 plot!

But I reckon he'll be more serious in his leadership role. He wouldn't want himself or anyone else to die.

Eh... it's really too early to tell with just a preview. I could speculate on Leo much better after seeing the season 1 finale (obviously, :P), but you never know... sometimes programs (almost all television programs) heighten the teasers/previews to make it much more dramatic and suspenseful than it really is. :ohwell:

For all we know, Leo could be falling down where some cushion, net, or flying "Turtle" craft (i.e. Turtle Blimp with the OT) is waiting to catch him. So... yeah, can't really say much on it.

Well, from what others have said, Raph catches him as he's falling, so I don't think he'll get hurt too badly. However, we'll have to wait and see how it plays out.

yeah, my thought was hes caught by one of the other turtles on their glider, and may be unconscious or injured or something, but i think he'll be fine by the end of the episode.

But, for season 2, i think he will get more serious about his leadership

I'm sure he would - he might become depress, anxious, serious, more severe maybe..

I hope they won't throw out that adorable and dorky personality of his out of the window. I really like his personality in this version, more so than the other carnations.

I don't want him to get depressed like he did in 2K3. It worked in that version, but I don't want Leo to suddenly change like he did there and lose the awesome personality he has now.

Have people forgotten Leo jumping off Shredder's tower in 2k3? He suddenly had a grappling hook to save him. I expect the same here. Alternately, someone swings in to saves him. It's not a big deal either way.

judging from that image and the clip where he takes that vital hit, I think he will wind up unconscious and disappear after the fall, possibly will end up captured or w/ amnesia

I also think that if he does end up captured, then spike/slash might fill in his place during the time they think hes gone/cant find him

I doubt that, since someone said that they saw Raph catch him. More than likely he'll be unconscious when Raph does catch him and sends him to safety.

i dont believe anyone has "seen" him be caught, i think that theyre implying that from how raph is heard saying leos name and then there being a picture of leo on raphs glider. leo disapearing until season 2 seems pretty possible

Course, it could be Leo's idea a d her hides it from his brothers and sneaks up behind the enemy I the finale battle defeats him.

I think this Leo isn't going to be the fun loving geek in the 2012 series any more though, some thing like this changes that person, Leo from the 2003 series for example.

Yeah i agree, i dont believe he will simply just be caught and continue on.

He will lose or gain some quality from this finale

First part, definitely possible. Second part, no, slash is created on accident, and I don't think they'd just attempt to replace Leo, but if he is created within the dies couple episodes I could see him filling in

No, I don't see Slash being created to replace Leo. However, I do see Leo's fall off the building to be a tense moment depending on where it is within the finale. If it's toward the end, then it'll definitely create tension as no one will know whether he survived that fall or not. But if it's in the middle, then things can be resolved by the end.

Gah, I can't wait for the finale! At least there won't be a big gap this time.
