TMNT at NYCC 2013?

Hey everyone. So, I'm thinking about going to NYCC this year, and I was wondering what TMNT related panels/screenings will be there. I'm specifically interested in the Nick cartoon and Playmates Toys. So if anyone knows anything, I'd appreciate some information including times, dates and what not.

Convention information isn't secret information. If it's not on the website, which I expect it's not, no one knows. Panel schedules get released closer to the actual show.

I'll meet up with you, even if just briefly. I went in 2010 and met a whole bunch of dromers there. Spent the con with Raph, pl212, & Iveyangelo mostly, but I also got to see Aligarept, Archon Turtle, and some others who I may be forgetting (sorry!). Kevin Eastman will be there all 4 days, super excited about that.

I can't for the life of me remember if Playmates had a panel last year. There should definitely be a Nick panel, but I'm not sure about Playmates. Could be that they cover both show and toy topics in one panel. Though personally I'm hoping they have separate panels. Would help increase the chances of more 2014 reveals.

Just because I didn't reply to your post doesn't mean I ignored it...I just figured that someone would give their input on if there would be anything TMNT related based on their previous experiences at comic con, seeing as how I've never went before :trolleye:

I would say the odds are favorable of there being at least 2 or 3 of them. This is just based on past cons and educated guesses. I think everyone was there last year, and considering this takes place not even a month after Season 2 starts, I think it's fair to expect a pretty heavy turtle presence. The fact Eastman is there for all 4 days suggests at least a fair amount of comic related turtle stuff, but I could see him sitting in with a Nick TMNT panel just the same. Mirage artists like Dooney are there yearly, as well as many who worked on Tales Of The TMNT vol. 2 (Scott Cohn, Rick Remender, etc,) and 4kids folks are often there as well. Series artists Khary Randolph & Emilio Lopez, for example. In 2010 a few of the 4kids voice actors were around, April, Leonardo, Baxter Stockman (I think he goes yearly?). There will no doubt be a lot of cool people to meet, have no fear. Like Rose said, everything will be made public when it is known, it's just that things don't come to fruition until a few weeks from the con.

Best thing to do is just check the convention website and see if they announce or list anyone who will be at the show.
That stuff is sometimes confirmed and posted even if they dont have the con schedule up yet.

Bump! I checked the website and the cover art from the new animated adventures comics is on the front page. It says "Check out the artist alley gallery"...so does this mean that the artist for those comics will be there?

There is a possibility, albeit a slim one. Then, even if we get a look at anything movie related, it probably won't be much. Really depends on when they plan on revealing the designs for the Turtles.

If there are any TMNT panels this year, they'll mostly be Nick oriented, but who knows, we might get a sneak peak at things to come for the new movie. We just need to be patient and wait. October isn't that far away.

It would be nice if something related to the new TMNT movie shows up at NYCC. The problem is NYCC isn't as being as SDCC, And the majority of the movie studios usually show there stuff in SDCC exclusively.

False. Last year there was a Nick Turtles panel with the actors of all the turtles (sans Biggs), Splinter, and producer. They showed off finished and unfinished clips, and character designs for characters such as Cockroach Terminator, etc.

I dont think we will see anything movie related for the TMNT at NYCC given that its a smaller venue. Based on what I see on the website, The only thing TMNT related is someone whose working on the TMNT New Adventures series comic which is based on the Nick series.

Alright! Last year's panel was pretty good so I'm looking forward to it. I hope they can get all 4 turtles back this time (yes that means you too Jason Biggs!)

Like last year they'll probably show a clip montage of upcoming season 2 episodes and some concept art, as usual. Always cool to get some insight.
