Hey guys. My name is christopher. Im currently living in los angeles california but was born and raised in phoenix arizona. I'm a 80s kid(born in 84) that grew up with the turtles. The thing I've always loved most from my childhood has been the turtles. I grew up with ninja turtles birthday parties and bed sheets and clothes and toys. When I got rid of all of my toys from my youth, the only thing I held onto was my turtle toys. I grew up loving the original cartoon and all three live action films. When I was in highschool(late 90s) I grew to love the original comic. I personally have never cared for the live action show and I've actually never seen the 2k series besides turtles forever(which I loved). I absolutly love the new show and am excited to see every new episode that airs. I am a father of a 1 year old son and am feverishly forcing the turtles on him. I've given him a set of the old school turtle figures. The two of us watch a few episodes of the new turtle every day. My son really likes the new show and will stop whatever he is doing to watch it. He always dances to the theme song. If I start an episode without him in the room he will start crying. I've also recently started collecting the new trurtles toy line. I'm really happy with both the classic collection line as well as the regular line. I also am trying to get into collecting original turtle art. I've been buying original art from indie artist Erik araega and Enrique robledo and I'm looking to move into buying stuff from artists that have officially worked on turtles stuff. I'm not super excited about the new turtles movie due to the bay factor. I'm just almost sure he's gonna ruin it. I'm just not gonna hold my breath as to whether or not it will be good. But a little part of me is excited they are making a movie at all. So besides turtles, i collect 3a toys, vinyl records, laserdisc movies and of coarse comic books.
