Best "Filler" Mutant?

What is the best filler mutant? Regardless of how good the episode was , I'm talking about the mutant in general.

My favorite has to be Snakeweed, for me he was the most interesting out of all them and his design is great.

Well clearly my favourite is Newtralizer (did you guess), but from those options, definitely pre-skin shedding Cockroach Terminator. He went from badass to gross.

Aside from Dogpound/Fishface, I'd say Snakeweed is the only other mutant I like.

The rest just feel generic to sell toys or fill up time for an episode. I'd much rather Nick bring back old mutants from the past, like they're doing with Slash in Season 2, then create these new generic characters.

Much rather see Rahzar/Tokka return or Mondo Gecko.

Nah. Too bland. Having an army of Newtralizers would be like having an army of Leatherheads or Splinters.

If I were to rank the mutants in this show in terms of importance:

1. Dogpound/Fishface (work for Shredder, have the most appearances)
2. Leatherhead (classic character)
3. Snakeweed (two episodes, also got a Nick comic)
4. Newtralizer
5. ....everyone else


I don't know where to place Mutagen Man yet, we'll have to wait till next season. Of course if you count Baxter who will become a fly or Rat King, then place them alongside Leatherhead in rank 2.

Snakeweed. The rest feel like they exist more to sell toys (not counting DP+FF/Newtralizer/Classic Mutants). Although some of the designs are fairly creative, they still fall flat.

An alien from Dimension X, which would explain why he's after the Kraang and is intelligent enough to operate weapons.

Anyway, I say Snakeweed. My second would be Spider Bytez. As much as people hate him, I think his design is pretty cool and heck, it's a mutant spider. I just think he's cool :tgrin:

My vote is going out to Spyder Bytes... reason being he was simply the best CHARACTER.

Most of the other mutants couldn't even speak making them weaker characters in my book. Spyder Bytes was built up as a character and maintained that character after the mutation. I think we will see him coming back to taunt the turtles a lot in the future.

..gained control of rats...from mutagen. he is still a mutant, just because he doesnt look like a rat doesnt mean hes not. the mutagen is unstable after all. when he turned into the rat king, the last organism he had touched had been rats, mix that with his mind control AND mutagen, you get a mutated falco.

Anyways, have to give best filler to snakeweed, really liked how in his second appearance they treated him like a constant recurring villain, giving him the subplot to the karai angle of that episode
