I probably like the most recent song the most (2012), but I don't get all the hate for the 2003 one. I actually like it a lot. Might just be because I grew up with it though.

Depends Season 4 of 2K3 would be my favorite. followed by the original, 2K12 while nice, looses points in my book for sounding too similar to the OT.

Maybe because it IS a remix? Sorry, but I disagree, the 2k12 theme song rocks, IMO.

For me, it's 2k12, followed by OT, and then 2k3.

OT's by miles. One of the greatest and most iconic theme songs of all time. Great melody and lyrics.

2k3's theme song would be better if it wasn't a damn counting song. Fast Forward's theme is better but still can't top the OT.

OT theme hands down. The nick theme gets an honorable mention. I don't mind the similarities between the two, the nick version is different enough to be enjoyable as its own entity.

The original, for sure. I agree with the 2k12 one sounding too much like a uncanny valley remix - but to write 2 brilliant opening songs for the franchise, could lightening ever strike twice?

And the 2k3 ones surely grew on me...the FF song gets stuck in my head all the time, and BTTS is surprisingly pretty good.

Theyre all good, but the 1987 theme is just way more good than the others.

I put the first 4 episodes of the OT on for my neice last week, watching her go nuts to the theme song was awesome...my parents were like "here we go again" :trolleye:

I really liked the 2012 theme from the first time I heard it. The song is fresh and new for the younger generation yet pays homage to the original. It's close to being my top, but 1987 is just so classic! I remember hearing the 2k3 theme for the first time on the Mirage website a couple months before the premiere. I disliked it at first but it eventually grew on me. And I liked how it updated based on the Shredder's current status with the show.

2003 is cool. There should be a totally new one for 2012, because it stands on its own. If the song would be disliked, it wouldn't matter. It's the snow that matters.

OT theme song and its not even close imo.

Nick's is ok I guess, but it loses its taste once the turtles start head banging too it imo. Do loved the comic intro thing in the end, with the rooftop.

But the OT theme is catchy, fun to sing, has great video, all the turtles and Shredder gets there part in the song, It was great.

Never did like the 2002 theme song much, Though its always in my head, 1 2 3 4 turtles, ete.

OT theme, hands down. It's very catchy and memorable. My second is the 2012 theme, since it's a remix of the OT theme and a rap. My third is the 2k3 theme.

The 4Kids theme does have a special place in my heart, even though I know it's not very good.

The Fred Wolf theme is pretty catchy, but despite what a lot of people will say, like with the 4Kids theme it's technically not a good song.

The themes from the 2007 and 2014 movies are pretty generic, it really should have been better.

Fastforward, Back to the Sewer and Next Mutation had really awful theme songs.

I really like the theme from the 1990 movie though, seems really fitting.

Edit: I almost forgot, the Nick theme, not a fan of of rap and I think the rhythm is too slow at the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" part.

As far as the cartoons go, I've gotta give it to the original overall, but BttS is easily the best 2003 series theme. By a lot.

Actual song. I want to say a '70s or '80s rock song, but I just can't seem to remember which song or where I heard about it. "Rip-off" might be overstating it a bit, but they sounded pretty similar as I recall.

Honestly they're all various ranges from "Corny" to "Crummy" but the original cartoon has to be the least offensive, and it is iconic.

Not a huge fan of the Nick show's rap remix. Mostly because "Do It With Rap!" has been shorthand for "lazy attempt to make something Modern and Hip" for over 20 years now and I can't believe people still go for it. It's just such a lazy, predictable thing to do.

The 2K3 show could have had an awesome theme if it wasn't for the awful, horrible lyrics. "1! 2! 3! 4!" Yes, there's four of them. We Know.

Original 80's theme. I find it hard to sit or stand still whenever hearing it :) The 2003 one is too loud & manic. The 2012 one is the only thing I don't like about the show. Sounds cheap. I skip past it every time. Wonder when they'll finally change up the theme/title sequence.
